Where Is Disney Springs In Disney World

Sit Outside At The Boathouse

Disney Springs 2020 Tour and Overview | Walt Disney World Orlando Florida Shopping and Dining

The Boathouse is one of Disney Springs most beloved restaurants, and despite its higher prices, its easy to see why.

Our meal there was one of the best weve ever had, including an amazing lobster roll, a turkey sandwich that was the best Ive ever eaten, and honey rolls that we could have eaten for days.

We like to sit outside near the water when we eat at the Boathouse, and if you time it right, you can even see some fireworks from surrounding theme parks while youre eating.

If thats not Disney magic, I dont know what is.

Disney Springs Hotels And Resorts

There are 7 hotels in the Disney Springs area that all have some things in common:

  • New for 2018: Guests with a valid Disney World Theme park ticket can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours
  • New for 2018: Guests with a Disney World Travel Company package can make FastPass+ reservations at 60 days
  • They all have shuttles that run to the theme parks every 30 minutes
  • These resorts are all considered off-site resorts and dont have access to on-site benefits like Magical Express, package pickup, Magic Bands, etc.
  • Many hotels give guests the opportunity to have more space than Disney World resorts
  • Since most of these hotels are part of chains, people wanting to use points can use those for Disney World trips
  • Some of the Disney Springs hotels are within walking distance of Disney Springs
  • There are often extra fees charged to guests that arent included in the nightly fee. For the ones that we aware of, weve noted those below.
  • Many of these resorts are options you can get on Priceline. Where applicable, weve noted those below. Just remember that you arent guaranteed any particular hotel when you bid but you might end up with 1 of these hotels as they are often options.
  • If you want to get from 1 of the Disney Springs resorts to a Disney resort, it might make sense to walk to Disney Springs and take transportation from there but be aware that there are no buses that go from Disney Springs to the theme parks.

Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times inside the parks.

The West Side is home to some of the best entertainment at Disney Springs. In addition to a Cirque de Soleil show, there is also the House of Blues for fantastic live music and the NBA Experience for a chance to pretend to be a professional basketball player. Or, if youre just hoping to sit and watch a good ole Disney movie, an AMC theater is also situated on the West Side of Disney Springs.

The Town Center is where youll find all of the non-Disney-related shops if youre just hoping to do some shopping. UNIQLO, Levis, Sephora, Tommy Bahama, and Free People are all located in the Town Center. Some of the best restaurants at Disney Springs can also be found in this district, like T-REX, D-Luxe Burger, Polite Pig, and Frontera Cocina.

The Marketplace is home to all things Disney. World of Disney, Disney Pin Traders, Disneys Days of Christmas, The Art of Disney, Once Upon a Toy, and more are all located in the Marketplace. And, during the holiday season, the Marketplace is also where youll find Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail and Santas Chalet.
