Shuttle To The Disney Ticket And Transportation Center
The Disney Transportation Hub is all you need. In fact, this is the drop-off point for anyone wanting to visit the Magic Kingdom. One park down, three more to go. All Disney Transportation is provided at this central hub whether it be a water taxi, monorail or even the bus, anywhere you want to go that is related to Disney World can be acquired from here.

San Diego Hotel Options
The San Diego hotel below can be added to your Disney Cruise Line reservation. If you have booked through a travel agent, contact your agent to add a pre-cruise and/or post-cruise stay. If you have booked directly with Disney Cruise Line, call them.
Pre/post-cruise stays can be added up until 31 days prior to check-in date . If you stay both before and after the cruise, both portions must be booked at the same hotel. Pre/post-cruise stays that are added to a cruise reservation must be purchased for ALL guests in the same stateroom.
Alternatively, you can book directly with the hotel through the link below, which may be less expensive:
- The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is on San Diego Bay between the San Diego Convention Center and the Seaport Village. It is approximately 3 miles from San Diego International Airport and just a few blocks from the San Diego Cruise Terminal.
- The Intercontinental San Diego is a modern 4-diamond tower hotel just across the street from the cruise terminal, with sweeping views of San Diego Bay. Its about 3 miles from San Diego International Airport.
Final Thoughts On Disney Airport Transportation
Clearly, there are no shortage of Disney airport transportation options. With that being said, Im still a bit disappointed that Magical Express is going away.
Its not without its faults, thats for sure. But theres a lot to be said about free Disney airport transportation. Not to mention, it was a nice perk of staying at a Disney resort.
But at this point, we dont really have a choice but to find another option.
For myself, its likely to be ride sharing. But thats really not for everyone. Take a look through the list and start to weight all the pros and cons for your own family.
The good news is, youll find something that works for you.
Sharing is caring!

Best Hotels Near Disney World With A Shuttle
When planning a vacation to Walt Disney World there is a lot to take into consideration including where to stay, how to get around, and of course, the cost of a trip. One of the best ways to tackle the cost issue is to stay in a central hotel near Disney World that offers a shuttle service. Not only is this a great option for saving on time and stress, but its a good way to save money at Disney World since you wont need a rental car.
Plus, wouldnt you rather spend your time planning which Disney rides you want to go on rather than struggling to find a place to park?
With that in mind, here are my top ten picks for the best hotels near Disney World, off of which offer a shuttle service. The hotels on this list are suitable for families, groups, and couples and all offer some great amenities as well.

Shuttle Service And Theme Park Partnerships
Below, weve listed only hotels offering shuttle service to both Universal and Disney.Be sure to check with the hotel to confirm the specific details about the shuttle service as they can change.
Also, shuttle service times may be limited, so consult the schedule before planning theme park activities. At some hotels, you can reserve your shuttle space in advance, while others have a first-come, first-serve policy. Most shuttles often make only one or two stops within each theme park, so allow time to get from your shuttle stop to the specific places you want to visit.
Finally, many Orlando hotels also have a partnership with either Universal or Disney. Their partnership status can enable hotel personnel to help you with ordering theme park tickets.

While the shuttle offers daily service to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld, guests are encouraged to call the front desk at Cypress Point for the latest shuttle schedule.

Ride Share With Uber Or Lyft
Most people know by now that ride share services with Uber or Lyft are popular and easy to use. But are they a good option for your Disney airport transportation?
The answer is a resounding yes. Aside from a free option, ride share with Uber or Lyft is likely your most cost effective Orlando Airport transportation option.
Using our same example of needing a ride from All Star Movies Resort to MCO as comparison, an Uber will cost me $32 one way. Thats for the smallest car option. An UberXL costs $42.
Either way, thats a lot less than $102, thats for sure.
However, your price might vary as the ride share rates arent fixed. A busier time of year, or busier time of day, might result in a higher fare.
I have personally used both Uber and Lyft often in and around Disney World. Its often my go to for getting to a park in time for rope drop.
Ive also used it to get to and from the airport, I believe I spend around $38 at the time.
Ride share services definitely arent for everyone. You are riding around in someones personal vehicle which they are using to contract with Uber or Lyft.
So while this is a cost effective option, it might not be in your comfort zone.
As of the current pricing, using Mears Connect is cheaper for one person. Start adding on family members, and it might not be. Make sure you do your math.
Are there ride shares with car seats?
