The Peoplemover Is One Of My Favorite Classic Attractions
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is one of those classic rides that never gets old.
It’s in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom, and the ride provides a full tour of the section of the park, including most of the attractions.
It’s a very relaxing ride, and it’s the perfect way to catch a nice breeze on a warm day.
Hunt For Hidden Mickeys And Other Things At A Disney Resort
Hidden Mickeys are an extra little dose of Disney magic thats been sprinkled across Disney property like pixie dust. These visual Easter eggs have been cleverly hidden throughout the parks and resorts by those crafty Imagineers. Track them down in a special scavenger hunt over at Disneys Wilderness Lodge and Boulder Ridge Villas, then get your reward from the front desk.
Free scavenger hunts can be found at a few other Disney resorts as well, though you arent always searching for hidden Mickeys, including the Port Orleans, Polynesian, Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation, Pop Century, and Animal Kingdom Lodge resorts. Talk to a front desk or recreation cast member to find out how to grab your scavenger hunt checklist and claim your prize.

For Foodies & Connoisseurs
Much has been said about the connection between food and love. And while I cant speak on the success rate of a certain recipe for chicken to result in a marriage proposal, I do know that a delicious meal or a particularly tasty drink can make an experience that much sweeter. So, in that spirit, here are some date ideas for Disney World that are all about food.
Eat and Drink Around the World
As EPCOTs unofficial pastime, its no wonder that eating and drinking around the world is on the list of memorable Disney World date ideas. Come with an empty stomach and a sense of adventure as you and your date make your way around World Showcase.
Stop and get something to share from each of the World Showcase pavilions. Not only does this help make sure youve got enough stomach space to get to the other side of the lagoon, but its also fun to bond over the unique things you try. Not drinkers? Try one of these alcohol-free alternatives instead.
Visit Some Romantic Disney Restaurants
Disney character dining and quick-service standards like turkey legs and DOLE Whip may be the first things that come to mind when you think of eating at Walt Disney World, but that doesnt mean that there isnt any date-night-ready dining to enjoy. Disney World signature restaurants are the best of the best, delivering the romance with upscale cuisine in an elevated setting and sometimes, even a dress code.

Enjoy A Nightcap At A Disney Bar
A Walt Disney World vacation can be stressful even if you do follow our list of fun things for adults to do at Disney. Luckily, we have a simple solution for taking the edge off. Go for a drink at some of the best bars at Disney World.
Along with refreshing craft cocktails, wine, cider, and beer, many Disney bars also feature equally tasty bar bites and immersive theming. Disney Springs bars like Jock Lindseys Hangar Bar and Wine Bar George are popular options for their convenient location. However, we also suggest you check out some of the many lounges at Disneys resort hotels. Trader Sams, Disney Worlds ultimate tiki bar, is the perfect blend of kitsch tropical cocktails. While the Grand Floridian bar, the Enchanted Rose, is a grown-up twist on Beauty and the Beast.
Feeling like you could use a pick-me-up as youre exploring the theme parks? Never fear, Disney has you covered there too. Inspired by the iconic Mos Eisley Cantina scenes in the films, Ogas Cantina at Hollywood Studios is a must for any Star Wars fan. Or if youre looking for a spot to unwind for a while at Animal Kingdom, the Nomad Lounge at Tiffins Restaurant offers a worldly selection of food and drinks and comfortable seating on its wraparound porch.
Walt Disney Never Set Foot In Walt Disney World
This one isn’t necessary to planning, but it will help you cut through a lot of nonsense youll come across on the internet.
While Walt Disney started planning Walt Disney World soon after Disneyland opened in 1955, he died in 1966 before construction at Walt Disney World began. The project continued under the direction of Walt’s brother, Roy.

Drink Around The World
Disney World is home to Epcot and Epcot is home to the one and only World Showcase! One of the best things to do in Disney World is explore the World Showcase at Epcot and while you could quickly walk around the world, I highly recommend drinking around the world instead!
Drinking around the world has become a fan favorite and you should definitely check out my Ultimate Guide to Drinking Around the World before you depart on your globe trotting adventure!
Drinking around the world in the Epcot World Showcase is by far one of my favorite activities in Disney World! While you can grab an alcohol drink in each country, you do not need to drink alcohol to make this super fun. Grab a bubble tea in China, a hot chocolate in Norway, or Berber Passion in Morocco.
If you do drink alcohol, my Ultimate Guide will point you to some of the best tasty beverages, but you can also just pick the coolest sounding drink from each country!
If you want to add one more item to your must do activities in Disney World grab a drink in every Disney park too! While Magic Kingdom used to not sell alcohol, you can now find beer and alcohol in this park! Where? Check out my Guide on Where to Find Beer and Alcohol in Magic Kingdom!

Be At A Park At Rope Drop
Being on vacation might mean sleeping in for you, but being at a Disney World theme park right as the park opens can be a really special experience! You might even get to be the first family in the park for the day or catch a special welcome show. And, as they say, the early bird catches the worm. Your early start time could help you ride some of those really popular attractions quickly and give you the chance to finish up your must-do rides in one park early, so you can hop to another in the afternoon.
Ride On The Walt Disney World Railroad
Whether you use the Walt Disney World Railroad as a way to get around Magic Kingdom, or you take a grand circle tour without getting off at all, the Railroad is a Disney must-do. The train station is often one of the first sights you see walking into the park, and the sound of the trains whistle may be one of the first things you hear. Walt Disneys love of trains is really embraced and honored through this attraction. Disney fans can ride this attraction, get a unique view of Magic Kingdom, enjoy a relaxing ride around the park, and feel connected in some way to Walt himself.

Shop The Worlds Largest Disney Store
Disney Springs used to be a couple of stores with discounted merch, but in the last couple of years, its exploded into a full outdoor shopping experience with its own attractions, signature dining, and the largest Disney store on the planet. World of Disney is a must for anyone souvenir hunting. It has it all, from ears to apparel to home decor and homewares. Most of the merchandise on Main Street U.S.A. and other big shops in the parks will show up here, too. So, save your time in the parks for rides and head here for one-stop shopping. And for a double must-do, World of Disney and Disney Springs, in general, are full of holiday spirit in November and December.
Get A Taste Of The Disney Nightlife
Disney nightlife might seem like a bit of an oxymoron, but youll find a few adult-friendly offerings at Disney World after sunset, especially at the resorts entertainment districts. Now, before you get too excited and we set you up for disappointment, keep in mind that this is still Walt Disney World. So, expect the evening activities that are available to be on the more wholesome side of things.
Disney Springs is Disney Worlds headlining entertainment complex, with live music in the evenings and some of the resorts best shopping and dining. If youre looking for a hip meal, look no further than the STK Steakhouse with its live DJ and club vibes. Several restaurants also offer live entertainment here including Raglan Road Irish Pub, House of Blues, and The Edison, along with the Splitsville bowling alley. Looking for something more chill? The AMC Theater offers both regular and dine-in movies. The 10 Best Things To Do At Disney World
Walt Disney World
Disney World is a massive vacation resort with many hotels, an astonishing number of restaurants, shopping and entertainment districts, and a wealth of other features to explore.
Want more than these 10? Consider the enchanting Animal Kingdom show, “Finding Nemo: The Musical,” a ride aboard Kilimanjaro Safaris, and a refreshing serving of Dole Whip, the pineapple-flavored treat that is served at Aloha Isle in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom and Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
Watch Now: Must-Dos at Disney World
Many Disney World visitors chow down on the same nondescript fast food typically found at traditional amusement parks. And that’s a shame.
They are missing out on some fantastic restaurants in the Florida resort and an opportunity to make their vacations more memorable. Disney World’s best table-service restaurants include both high-end and more moderately priced restaurants such as Jiko, The Cooking Place at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk.
Don’t blow all your vacation dollars indulging in table-service restaurants, but that doesn’t mean you have to settle for burgers and fries all the time either. The resort has some great counter-service restaurants, including Sunshine Seasons at Epcot and Flame Tree Barbecue at Disneys Animal Kingdom. If you are looking for something sweet, Disney World has delectable snacks and desserts.
Hollywood Studios Must Dos
#68. Ride The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
It doesnt get more Hollywood Studios than the Tower of Terror. Its my favorite ride at the park and one of the most thrilling experiences at Disney. The theme, the decor, the line queue, the big drop- everything about the Tower of Terror is awesome. Dont leave Hollywood Studios without riding it at least once!

#69. Eat at Hollywood Brown Derby
Hollywood Studios isnt known for having an abundance of great restaurants, but Hollywood Brown Derby is a big exception. Its the parks signature restaurant and serves much better food. The restaurant is based on the original Brown Derby Restaurant in real life Hollywood. If you like Cobb salads, Hollywood Brown Derbys is the most famous around.
#70. Watch Fantasmic!
Fantasmic! is an epic outdoor show that is part fireworks, part stage show, part water show, part lights show. There is so much going on during a Fantasmic performance. Youll see tons of characters doing all sorts of different performances while fireworks, lights, and water are going off all around. It even incorporates boats that circle the stage. This is definitely Hollywood Studios best nighttime show.

#72. Ride Rise of the Resistance
#73. Eat at the Sci-Fi Dine-In
#74. Drink at Ogas Cantina
#75. Ride the Millennium Falcon

Watch The Magic Kingdom Flag Retreat Ceremony
This patriotic Magic Kingdom tradition is a welcome respite from the typical Disney vacation marathon. So, pause for the day and make your way to the town square down on Main Street, U.S.A. to watch the American flag retire for the evening. Too much fanfare, of course. Hear the trumpet blast, say the pledge of allegiance and hum along to The Star-Spangled Banner.
This moving ceremony is conducted by the Disney Security Team along with a veteran or family member of someone in the armed forces and takes place every day at around 5 PM.
