The Couple Faced Several Challenges While Planning Their Wedding But The Overall Process Was Fabulous

“Like with any destination wedding, there were several logistical details we had to work out,” the bride told INSIDER.

According to Brianna, finding lodging for the couple’s guests was the most “time-consuming” part of the wedding planning process.

“Disney’s room block system is pretty complicated because there are so many resorts to choose from,” she explained. “We wanted to give our guests various options but you have to kind of estimate how long each guest will be staying and where they will want to stay.”

“Luckily it all worked out and the rooms were perfect,” she said.

Their Wedding Planning Process Was Surprisingly Stress

“Our initial consultation went amazing,” Jodi said. “Our wedding planner was so helpful.”

The bride continued: “There were many online brochures, photos, and websites. Any questions we had were responded to right away.”

Six months before their wedding, Jodi and Saurabh visited Disney World for an in-person planning session.

“We had the opportunity to do a cake tasting and menu tasting inside the Epcot kitchen,” Jodi said. “You never dream of going behind the scenes at Disney World, so that was extra special!”

Reindeer Peppermint Mousse From Le Petit Cafe

Getting Married at Disney World

Weve tried a lot of holiday treats over the past couple of months around Disney World, but the Reindeer Peppermint Mousse from Le Petit Cafe at Disneys Riviera Resort may be the cutest one we came across.

The brownie was *chefs kiss*

Cuteness aside, it was also very tasty! At $5.99, this dessert was made with a dark chocolate mousse with a peppermint mousse inside. The mousse is sitting on top of a brownie, and its decorated with dark chocolate antlers and a red nose made of white chocolate. Added together, we found this dessert to be rich, moist, tasty, and overall !

Filet Mignon With Macaroni And Cheese From Steakhouse 71

I’m Getting Married In Disney World!

Weve been shouting from the rooftops over how impressed weve been with Steakhouse 71 since it first opened in time for Disney Worlds 50th Anniversary Celebration. We went back for lunch and we were able to order an entree off of the DINNER menu: the 6 oz Filet Mignon. We paired it with their Macaroni & Cheese with Applewood-smoked Bacon and Jalapeño.

6-oz Filet Mignon with Mac & Cheese a winning combo!

Note that theres no guarantee youll be able to order a dinner item off of their lunch menu, so be sure to check with your server once you arrive! We were super pleased with our lunch, however both the Filet and the Mac & Cheese were delicious!

  • I got in March, and we had an immersive and memorable experience.

  • The venue is a perk of getting married here, though sticking to park hours was tricky.

  • We had our wedding at Epcot’s Italy Pavilion and enjoyed a family-style brunch after.

I loved getting married at Walt Disney World, even though our wedding timeline was a bit unexpected.

Although we had to adjust our wedding to Disney’s schedule, we were able to have an immersive and unique event that we wouldn’t have experienced elsewhere.

Here’s what my wedding at Walt Disney World really looked like:

    The Attic was just perfect!

The best source of information I’ve found is the Passporter’s Guide to Disney Weddings. You can just search for it online and it will pop up. They have an e-book and it’s really great. It breaks everything down and tells you all the options. I’ve also been listening to podcast which is great! You can get that on iTunes, and probably other podcast platforms. They just did an overview of the different types of wedding packages. Good luck finding the right fit for your wedding!

      The Attic was just perfect!

Thank you once again for all your help and advice. You seem to be the wedding guru on here.I’m not sure I like the idea with having the day cut short after the reception, especially if I was to do mini-wishes. What other options are there that will allow us to keep our party together after our ceremony, up until the fireworks and the end ?Funny you say that, thats what we’ve been looking at since being on here, as it seems the better option for ourselves. If I’m right in saying this, with a mini-wishes event we get the flexibility of planning the whole event etc, however, coming from the UK it seems quite difficult to arrange things properly. Are we worth flying over to gain a better insight and arrange meetings with the wedding planners, and try menus etc? Any advice on this would be appreciated

Day : We Had Our Bachelor And Bachelorette Parties In The Parks Then A Welcome Dinner

On Monday, March 29, we headed out bright and early to the bachelor and bachelorette parties.

I took the girls to Magic Kingdom and gifted them Loungefly backpacks I purchased in advance from resale sites to save money. I treated them to lunch at the Be Our Guest restaurant, which is modeled after the Beast’s enchanted castle.

The bachelor party headed over to Hollywood Studios for a day in Galaxy’s Edge. My husband, Mike, and his crew built lightsabers at Savi’s Workshop, which was a fully interactive building experience.

They also got drinks at Oga’s Cantina, a bar modeled after the watering hole from the films.

We later met our family and friends for a welcome dinner at the Tamu Tamu courtyard in Animal Kingdom. Park times kept fluctuating so we decided to skip a rehearsal for the ceremony.

At 6:30 p.m., we met all 27 of our wedding guests at the front gates of Animal Kingdom. A park attendant escorted us back to our venue location, which was one of my favorite parts. Guests in the park cheered us on and made us feel like VIPs.

There was a buffet for us when we arrived and waiters provided wine pairings. We ended the meal with Tiffins’ Lion King dessert.

The park usually stays open an hour after the posted schedule so most people were gone by the time we were done. We were escorted over to Pandora – The World of Avatar in Animal Kingdom.

Our park attendant let us capture photos before escorting us through the fast-pass line of Flight of Passage.

Nice Day For A Walt Wedding As Disney

Bryan Stewart had his very own ‘Don’t Tell The Bride’ moment when he secretly arranged for girlfriend of five years Nicole to have her big day in Walt Disney World.

Bank worker Bryan Stewart proposed to girlfriend Nicole Tully then secretly set up their wedding and got married in under 24 hours.

The 25-year-old launched a fairy tale version of TV show Dont Tell The Bride on a fortnights holiday to Florida.

First, he got down on one knee and proposed to a surprised Nicole in front of Cinderellas Castle in Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Her yes then triggered a frantic rush to arrange the venue and make sure their family landed in the USA undetected.

Nicoles mum Tracy even flew in with a wedding dress that she had been tricked into picking on a shopping trip.

Bryan said: It was a black ops mission. This was a real dont tell the bride effort.

Nicole had no clue of the engagement, let alone the wedding.

I had tipped close family members off a few weeks beforehand.

Nicole then went on holiday for a week with the women in her family and I was stressing out the whole time that they might let it slip.

But fair play to everyone for keeping it a secret. Id recommend it to anyone it turns out its easy to plan a wedding when the bride doesnt get a say.

The couple, from Falkirk, have been together for almost five years.

They wed in Orlando on November 3 and flew back to Scotland last week.

        Sea Turtle Cupcake Restaurantosaurus

If you were to ask us to rank the cutest treats we tried in Disney World this year, then the Sea Turtle Cupcake from Restaurantosaurus would be close to the very top. But once you take a bite, youll feel nothing but betrayal from this cute, gummy reptile. This Earth Day specialty dessert was a Graham Cracker Cupcake with Key Lime Pie Filling and Guava Gelée with Vanilla Buttercream, topped with a Fruit Snack Sea Turtle. Seems innocent enough, right?

Beware of the sea turtle gummies!

The flavors of the gummies were spearmint and peach why does Disney insist on combining minty flavors with things it just doesnt belong with? The mint combined with lime, vanilla, and guava did not sit well with us at ALL. In a sea of specialty cupcakes across Disney World, we wished this little sea turtle would just swim away.
