Under The Sea ~ Journey Of The Little Mermaid

The Top 5 Rides at Walt Disney World

This is a basic Disney dark ride based on characters from the Disney animated film, The Little Mermaid. Its essentially a re-telling of the film in a shortened version and the main plot points in the story are shown.

This is one of the newer dark rides at the Magic Kingdom and overall its a pretty good ride. There are some cheesy moments and some, where they could have spent a little more to go the extra mile to take it to the next level. We love the queue and with a few tweaks and imagination, this ride would move up our rankings.

Is It Possible To Ride All 7 Coasters In One Day

If you are a roller coaster enthusiast and only have a short amount of time at Walt Disney World, it is possible to ride all 7 of them in one day. Its actually not very difficult as you only need to visit 3 of the 4 parks to make it happen .

If you want to do it and mostly only ride the roller coasters, we suggest going to Hollywood Studios first and riding Slinky Dog Dash and Rock n Roller Coaster first-thing in the morning.

Once you finish up at Hollywood Studios, head to the Animal Kingdom and do Expedition Everest. Lastly, head to the Magic Kingdom to wrap up the remaining 4. We like to finish at the Magic Kingdom because it has the most rides and you can stay for the fireworks in the evening.

Lightning Mcqueens Racing Academy

This hybrid attraction/show features a really cool Lightning McQueen audio animatronic figure, which teaches the audience how to race and that is by far the highlight. The special effects on the wrap-around screen are cool too.

We wouldnt really call it a must-do attraction, but its fun. Fans of the Cars franchise will love it and its fun both for kids and adults.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover

Dont judge us, but we cant get enough of the PeopleMover. From the outside it may seem like a boring ride. It isnt fast, there are no sharp curves or loops, but that doesnt really matter, its beautiful its own way and needs to be appreciated for what it is.

The PeopleMover was designed as a first ride and tour of Tomorrowland, giving guests a glimpse of whats to come. We love riding it as a way to sit back, relax and do some of the best people-watching and views at the Magic Kingdom.

Its especially awesome at night, as the last ride before going home since there are no crowds and you can just walk right on. The opportunity to see the Progress City model and go inside Space Mountain are gravy!

How To Avoid Long Lines For Rides At Disney World

Best Disney World Thrill Rides: A Complete Guide

If there is one thing we hate is waiting for hours in queue for an attraction, even if it is a great ride. With so many awesome rides to do at Disney World, saving time by avoiding longs lines is crucial.

Here are our best tips to avoid long lines:

Go Early in the Morning We always suggest doing this for every theme park at Disney World. By showing up at least 30 minutes before the parks open, it will give you an advantage over most guests and you will be able to do all the best rides right away in the morning before the masses arrive.

Go When the Crowds are Low Try planning your trip during a time of the year when crowds are lower. This means avoiding big holidays and going more weekdays than weekends. To help you out, use our Disney World Crowd Calendar to find when there are fewer people in the parks.

Use FastPass+ The Disney theme parks give you the opportunity to get up to three FastPasses per day to skip waiting in line for the most popular attractions. You can make FastPass+ reservations from 30-60 days before the start of your vacation. This will save you some serious time in line and highly recommended.

Make sure to look at the Disney World Attractions Refurbishment Calendar while planning your trip to see if any of your favorite attractions are scheduled to be closed while you are there.

According to Disney fan sites like WDW Info, as long as you push the trigger even if you miss all the targets you’ll get a minimum score of 1,300 which puts you in the “Level 2: Space Ace” bracket.

Dining In Hollywood Studios

  • Our favorite place to eat in Hollywood Studios is the Sci-Fi Diner, which features casual food served in a drive-in theater. You eat in an actual automobile while watching old-school classic monster and alien movies. Needless to say, this is a huge crowd-pleaser for the family.
  • The elegant Hollywood Brown Derby is always a great choice. The food is pricier, but it gives you the classic Hollywood feel.
  • Woodys LunchBox in Toy Story Land is good for a quick snack, too.

Where To Eat At Epcot

Eating and drinking your way around the world is part of the fun at Epcot and theres plenty to choose from.

On our last visit, we had a late lunch at San Angel Inn in Mexico. It was fun to have a romantic candlelit meal under the stars overlooking a river, temple, and volcano.

The vegetarian options looked rather boring, but we shared the guacamole and Plato Vegetariano and it was delicious.

We also loved their range of interesting margaritas, especially the Wild One with ginger liqueur and passion fruit and mango purée.

The Seas With Nemo And Friends Once Held A Big Record

While guests ride through the story of “Finding Nemo,” they’re also passing through one of the largest aquariums in the world.

In fact, when The Seas pavilion was built in 1986, the Sun-Sentinel reported that it was the largest aquarium at the time. It held that record until 2005, when the Georgia Aquarium took the title, according to CNN.

Best Genie+ Rides At Animal Kingdom

Genie+ is less useful at Animal Kingdom as there are fewer rides.

Your Genie+ priority should be Navi River Journey followed by Kilimanjaro Safari. Kali River Rapids and Dinosaur only really need it on busy days.

Unfortunately, Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest are only available if you pay individually. I recommend arriving early and riding them both first.
