Best Character Meal In The Magic Kingdom: Cinderellas Royal Table

‘Ohana Dinner at Disney Polynesian Resort – 2022

Any conversation about Disney character dining has to include Cinderellas Royal Table, served in the iconic Cinderella Castle, the center of the Magic Kingdom. But it has drawbacks its pricey, and, currently, only Cinderella makes surprise appearances while you dine to wave from a safe distance.

During normal times, breakfast here is almost $70 per adult. Dinner is a bit of a better overall value at roughly $90 all-in, with much better food selections, including braised pork shank, pan-seared chicken, a charcuterie plate and amaretto cheesecake.

Right now, lunch and dinner are being served with price points a bit lower than normal due to the absence of the regular line-up of princesses. Breakfast is currently $42 for adults and $27 for kids.

Despite the price, youll quickly see the value inside the castle if this is on your bucket list.

Normally, you meet Cinderella herself for a photo opportunity as soon as you enter. Upstairs, youll get a seat in her castle dining room, along with a magic wand or a sword for your little ones. While you sit and eat, a host of Cinderellas friends, including Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Rapunzel, stop by for table visits.

The actors own their roles and are warm, personable and engaging. Your little princesses will leave with lasting memories. If you can get seats near the windows, you can use the natural light to get better photos with the princesses and enjoy a great view of Fantasyland during your meal.

The 10 Best Restaurants Near Disney World Off Property

When visiting sunny Central Florida and checking out all the fun things to do in Orlando near The Most Magical Place on Earth, it can be easy to fall into a rut when it comes to meals. The easiest and quite possibly the costliest rut is, Lets just eat at the Parks everyday, sounds good right, until your wallet and bank account are dried up quicker than a spilled glass of water on a hot day at Animal Kingdom. Its no secret, food is expensive at Disney World, and lets be honest, just because its The Most Magical Place On Earth doesnt mean its the tastiest place on Earth, or Orlando for that matter

Pick: Wine Bar George Might Be The Best Restaurant At Disney World

Wine Bar George is a trendy but casual spot at Disney Springs known for its extensive wine list and shareable plates.

It’s usually one of my first stops when I get to Orlando, especially if I’m not going to a theme park on the first day of my trip.

The food is consistently good, and the servers are all very knowledgeable about the wine list. In fact, they can usually get you the perfect wine within two tastes after asking a few questions about what you’re looking for.

I love the crispy macaroni-and-cheese bites, the house-made meatballs with triple cheese polenta and tomato sauce, and the burrata with grilled bread and tomatoes.

The BEST Restaurants + Places to Eat in Disney World

Something Quick Getting a burger from D-Luxe Burger is the same quality as getting one from a table service restaurant, only without adding a tip to your bill. Honestly, this is one of the best quick service restaurants in Disney World and the hand-cut fries and rich milkshakes give the burgers a run for their money.

If you are in the mood for pizza then head on over to Pizza Ponte for some of their oversized slices of Sicilian-style pies. The cannoli are great here too if you need something sweet after.

Sit-Down Meal Its no secret that our favorite restaurant is The Boathouse, and it makes a wonderful dinner for a special occasion. At night when the temperature has cooled down, ask to sit on the back porch for a calmer dining experience.

One of the most unique and memorable dinners is at Jaleo by José Andrés. They have several tasting menus put together by Chef Andrés and with all the incredible flavors it will be a dinner you never forget.

Maria & Enzos Ristorante

  • Cost: $$
  • Type: Table Service Restaurant
  • Cuisine: Italian

The theme and atmosphere is interesting and imitates an airport terminal from the golden age of travel that eventually closed down. The space is very open with lots of natural daylight and is more family-friendly than its neighbor Enzos Hideaway. The wait staff is Italian, giving the restaurant an authentic feel.

The menu features all the Italian classics you would expect such as ravioli, lasagna Bolognese, chicken parmesan, and gelato. Overall, the food at Maria & Enzos is very good with dishes ranging from excellent to ok. We wish the price was lower but the portions are huge which makes up for it somewhat.

What to Get: The Spaghetti and Meatballs are excellent. The meatballs are giant and not dried out inside. The Chicken Parmesan is another favorite entree where you get a good bang for your buck. The tiramisu is my sisters favorite and she gets it every time!

  • Type: Quick Service Restaurant
  • Cuisine: Italian

Located right next door to Maria and Enzos is a counter service restaurant, Pizza Ponte. This is the perfect place to go for a quick meal and grab a slice of pizza on the go.

The pizza here is Sicilian-style and sold by the slice. This is the first time Ive seen $7-8 slices of pizza. Back in Italy, you can get a whole personal pizza for less than that. The slices however are huge and roughly twice as big as a normal slice and many guests will only need one.

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

  • Cost: $$-$$$
  • Type: Table Service Restaurant
  • Cuisine: American, Italian

Californian Chef Wolfgang Puck has had a presence in Disney Springs for decades, and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is his latest creation. Its a table service restaurant that offers a Californian and Mediterranean-inspired twist on many classic comfort food recipes.

Start with appetizers such as fried calamari, Maryland blue crab cakes, or tuna tartare, then move on to the main course with choices from pizzas, pasta, seafood, or something from the grill.

The atmosphere is also interesting. The space has tall ceilings and is inspired by old farmhouses. We really enjoy this new Wolfgang Puck location and even though the decor and menu are classic, it has a more modern feel to it than previous restaurants. The cuisine is consistently good and we havent had a bad experience yet.

What to Get: Wolfgang Puck is famous for his individual pizza creations and we arent disappointed here either. Try the BBQ Pork Pulled Pork, Mortadella, or Taco pizza, each offering its own unique twist. This restaurant is also famous for its massive, Instagram-worthy milkshakes and sundaes that are easily shared in 2 or 3. Our favorite is the Chocolate Cookie Crunch Milkshake with a whole ice cream cookie sandwich on top.

Chef Art Smiths Homecomin

  • Cost: $$-$$$
  • Type: Table Service Restaurant
  • Cuisine: American

Chef Art Smiths Homecomin is certainly not the fanciest table service restaurant and doesnt have the most elaborate and refined dishes. What it has however is simple, hearty, and delicious home-cooking comfort food that I would put up next to those fancier dishes any day of the week.

Its located in a nice spot across the walkway from Morimoto Asia and right along the water with many waterfront tables and a great view.

The menu is pretty large and features fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, hush puppies, fried chicken, cheddar drop biscuits, braised short ribs, and country-fried steak. All of the prices are quite reasonable for Disney Springs and the portion sizes are big.

Dont forget that Homecomin serves up one of the best brunches in Walt Disney World and its a must-try on a Sunday morning.

Homecomin has become one of our go-to restaurants in Disney World, one that we visit almost every time. Ultimately, when you find yourself going back over and over again, you have to admit its one of the best, and there is no denying that here.

  • Type: Table Service Restaurant
  • Cuisine: American

After all that, here we are at #1. As if there was any doubt, the best restaurant at Disney Springs is The Boathouse. It was not an easy list to put together, but overall this is the top dining experience to do.

Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck

Some great places to eat near Disney World worth the drive
  • Cost: $
  • Type: Quick Service Restaurant
  • Cuisine: Mexican

The 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck is located on the West Side of Disney Springs and can be found parked next to the other food trucks. This is our favorite of the group and it serves some really good Mexican street food including tacos, quesadillas, and burrito bowls.

All the ingredients are fresh and of higher quality than what you would get at most quick service restaurants. The portions are also large and make for one of the more affordable meals at Disney Springs. If you are in the mood for Mexican, the 4 Rivers Cantina is a great option and comes highly recommended.

What to Get: Our favorite entree here is the massive Taco Cone with your choice of meat filling, lettuce, guacamole, pico de gallo, queso, jalapeños, and a lime wedge. The Mulita is another excellent choice and comes as a crispy tortilla stack with melted Oaxaca cheese, your choice of filling, queso fresco, and onion-cilantro salsa.

  • Type: Quick Service Restaurant
  • Cuisine: American, French

Everyone loves a good crepe and AristoCrepes is for sure one of our favorite places for dessert in Disney Springs. The quick service location serves only sweet crepes and bubble waffles, no savory crepes here. That means its probably not going to be a whole meal for you but more a good place for a snack or dessert after your meal.
