    How To Minimize Lines

As with most theme parks, the early bird gets the worm. Legoland doesnt generally have super early openings. The park often opens at 10am and closes between 6pm and 9pm. Even with a later opening, you shouldnt find long lines when you first get to the park. Generally speaking, as the day goes on, lines for the most popular rides on the most popular dates can get into the 45 60 minute range. However, many lines are 20 minutes or less on an average date for all but the hottest rides.

That being said, there are two main options that allow you to pay extra to cut the line at Legoland Florida: Fastrack 3-Pack and Fastrack Unlimited.

Fastrack 3-Pack is exactly what it sounds like, a cut-the-line pass for three rides:

    • The Great LEGO Race
    • The Dragon

The price for the Fastrack 3-Pack varies from $23.99 to $28.99 per person. Most dates are $23.99, whereas a few peak dates around the holidays are more expensive. While that can be worth it, if I were to spend extra to avoid lines, Id go ahead and get the Fastrack Unlimited option.

Fastrack Unlimited provides virtually unlimited access to all rides . Pricing starts at $59.99 for most dates, rising as high as $84.99 on peak days around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

If youre really looking for the fastest experience possible, Legoland does offer a variety of VIP tour options. They start between $150 and $200 per hour with a four- or five-hour minimum. Some packages can climb to more than $2,000 per day.

The LEGOLAND Hotel is a castle and has rooms that absolutely rival Disney World with themed décor. With only about 50 rides and attractions you truly dont need more than a day to see the park. However, if you have kids that want to ride things more than once and want to explore the hotel then go ahead and stay the night.

Dance to the disco music in the elevator, get your photo taken with Lego characters at breakfast and try not to cringe as kids throw LEGO pieces around in the lobby. This vacation is for your kids.

    Buy Tickets At Costco

    Florida vlog day 2

A Costco membership seems to never fail you. We love Costco for a whole lot of reasons, but purchasing various discount tickets through them is a huge bonus. Its not a guarantee that they will have Legoland tickets every time you check, but they do carry them quite often. You should check online and at the Costco nearest the park to see their current offers.

    Plan Rest For The Afternoon

Theres so many great places to stop by in the afternoon. Our favorite places include the Theaters, and the Botanical Gardens. Both of these areas are decently low crowd, and they are also part of the theme park admission. The kids really enjoy the Water Skiers- and they are fun- but the stadium is too hot in the mid afternoon.

This is one of our LEGOLAND Florida Hacks, as most people try to power through the day, but then they are totally exhausted the following day! Plan time for rest and it will make your vacation that much more pleasant.

    Overview Of Legoland Florida

LEGOLAND Florida is exactly what it sounds like, yet so much more! A place dedicated to everybody’s favorite brick, LEGOLAND Florida brings the world of LEGO to life like you could never imagine. You truly feel like you’re walking through lands of actual LEGO creations in a 150-acre interactive theme park full of unique attractions, experiences, dining, shopping and so much more.

The most important thing to note about LEGOLAND Florida is that it is designed for tadpoles up to age 12. What does this mean? Rides are geared toward the thrill level and interest of little ones, rather than adults. We wouldn’t recommend LEGOLAND for adults without kiddos unless you’re a huge LEGO fan.

LEGOLAND Florida is on the property of what used to be Cypress Gardens, and there is still an area dedicated to the former park. The botanical gardens are actually Mommy Frog’s favorite spot! Explore lush landscapes with huge trees, cool plants and a gorgeous gazebo for a quick getaway, or the perfect picnic location.

LEGOLAND Florida is divided into multiple lands inspired by different LEGO product lines and destinations: The Beginning, Fun Town, The LEGO Movie World, MINILAND USA, Duplo Valley, LEGO Kingdoms, Land of Adventure, LEGO City, Imagination Zone, LEGO Technic, LEGOLAND Water Park, Cypress Gardens, Heartlake City and LEGO Ninjago World.

What Sorts Of Rides Are At Legoland Florida

Legoland does its best to offer something for everyone at Legoland Florida. First of all, they try to bring in all your favorite Lego charactersfrom the Lego Friends in Heartlake City land, to Lego Kingdoms, Chima, and the Lego Ninjago World.

Even the water skiers in the show are dressed as Lego guys

There are four coasters: Coastersaurus, The Dragon, Project X and Flying School. None of these are super-scaryeven though I admit to only riding the Coastersaurus, an old-fashioned wooden coaster.

Some of the good for anyone rides include the Island in the Sky, which just slowly goes up and turns around to provide a birds eye view of the park The Grand Carousel, a two-level carousel the Lost Kingdom Adventure, which is similar to the rides at Legoland Discovery Centers where you ride through a track on a cart and shoot at targets and the Quest for Chi.

There are other rides that seem appealing, but adults and big kids may actually be too large for, like the Ford Driving School. Still others are in that middle range where budding thrill seekers may love them, like Mias Riding Adventure, which swings back and forth and gets me a bit nauseous just looking at it.

In addition to the rides, there are other attractions and shows, including some character meet and greets. I mentioned the water skiing show, but another fan favorite is Miniland.

Legoland Florida Is The Perfect Add

Legoland Florida Resort to Add New 150 Room Hotel

I have recently strayed from the Disney parks. Ill admit it! I have always loved other theme parks in the Orlando area , but twice in the past year I have visited LEGOLAND theme park, about 45 minutes southwest of Disney property. And yes this is a blog focused on Disney, but if you are a LEGO fan and you want something a little bit different, take a day or two and visit LEGOLAND. Its fun and absolutely adorable!

Pin trading? Not at LEGOLAND! Instead, you can trade mini-figs, the little LEGO people! Their model citizens each have name tags, and if theyre open to trading, their mini-figs are on their name tags. Much like pin trading, if you ask to trade they have to say yes, so you can walk away with some really unique figures.

One thing I really want to note- LEGOLAND does a few things better than Disney does! Yep, I said it! Every restroom has a small kids sink. Disney lacks this. And in the hotels, every single room has a smaller potty insert for little behinds to sit on! LEGOLAND also has more play areas for small children, just small playgrounds inside the park to run in- and all are designed for very small children.

Disney is geared toward the entire family so their play areas tend to be for older kids . LEGOLAND has several attractions that ONLY kids can ride. While thats disappointing for adults who want to drive a tiny LEGO car or ride a weird LEGO horse around, it gives kids a real sense of autonomy and a good independent feeling.

Legoland Is Best For Small Children

Disney World Faces Longest Shutdown In Its History Amid Coronavirus Pandemic | TODAY

Of the three theme parks, LEGOLAND is the best designed for three to five-year-olds. The rides are all very good, though the three-year-old couldn’t go on all of them. Also, the food is quite good in LEGOLAND and designed for kids. There are many healthy options throughout the park so your kids don’t have to eat junk all day.

Honestly, both children loved all aspects of the park. Overall, the park is much more accessible and less crowded, mostly because it’s about an hour from Orlando. LEGOLAND is building a hotel on-site, so perhaps then it will become slightly more crowded, though the hotel will offer walk-on access for guests unlike anything at any other theme park.

From the second we entered the park, the kids were fascinated with the various Lego creatures and would stop and touch them and stand by them, and smile. In fact, I couldn’t keep the three-year-old from veering off course every few minutes to check out another LEGO build. Duplo Valley is perhaps best for the youngest of children. It has two trains and an inside play area where parents can just let the kids run around in air-conditioned bliss.

Another wonderful part of LEGOLAND is Miniland, where master builders have recreated cities from around the world. There’s no ride, just the wonder of looking at these incredible creations.

Overall, there was plenty to do in LEGOLAND, and the two days we were there weren’t quite enough to experience everything the park had to offer.
