As Walt Disney World makes strides towards reopening next month, theres a lot of talk and a lot of questions going around. Now that the resort has implemented a new reservation system for future visits, theres plenty of new information for guests to brush up on. All your questions deserve to be answered, but where do you even begin? No need to worry, because we have all the need to know Disney World phone numbers to assist you in getting those answers.

Lately, with the new reservation system creating a high volume of calls to the resort, it can feel a bit frustrating trying to get through. We sympathize with you and we know the struggle. However, there still has been success after being on hold. To help you get started, here are the Disney World Phone Numbers you need to know and remember:

Redialing To Get Past Busy Signals

Currently, were experiencing pretty unprecedented issues with the phone lines at Disney World. At press time were on day 3 of guests not even being able to get past a busy signal to get into a hold queue.

If this is happening to you, our suggestion is to keep redialing, redialing, redialing. Some guests are reporting having to redial hundreds of times before getting placed into a hold queue. Here at DFB, I think our record to get placed into a hold queue is around 1 full hour of JUST redialing.

Once youre in a hold queue, you may hear Disney hold music, or you may hear nothing. Either way, stay on the line. Some guests have reported having calls dropped after hours of being on hold. And yes, it happens. And its exhausting and disheartening. But until Disney gets this fixed, just keep redialing.

Restaurants That Require A Credit Card Guarantee Or Prepayment

The following locations require full prepayment in advance, using a credit card. Generally if you dont cancel them by two days before the event, you get no refund. Check their cancellation terms carefully, as they can change any time.

  • Cinderellas Royal Table
  • Spirit of Aloha Luau
  • Mickeys Backyard BBQ

All other table-service dining locations that take reservations require a credit card guarantee. Your credit card will be charged $10 per person if you dont either show up for the reservation or cancel by the previous day . The latest you can cancel and avoid the charge is 11:59 pm Eastern Time of the night before, though there is no one answering the phones after 11:00 pm, so to cancel after that point you would need to do it online.

At Victoria & Alberts, your credit card will be charged $100 per person if you dont show up for the reservation, or if you cancel within 72 hours of the reservation.

Note that if some of your party cant make the reservation, thats not a problem. As long as at least one person shows up to take the reservation, no one will be charged the fee.

Other Methods Of Contact

Although calling the resort directly is a great way to make a park reservation and gain more information, it can get pretty exhausting really quick. Thank goodness there are more ways to reach the Walt Disney World Resort. However, these methods arent completely fool proof either but are still very helpful.

  • Chat: Some guests are having some success with using this feature. Just head on over to the Help Center located on the Walt Disney World website and select Chat. A Guest Services Cast Member will respond, but be patient, because this could take some time.
  • Email: Also located on the Help Center page is the option to email the resort. Click on the envelope and you will be taken to a page to fill out a form with all your specific needs. With this option, a Disney Cast Member will get back to you, however, this could take at least 24 hours.

What Happens If Park Hopping Isnt Allowed

Like we said, we havent experienced a restriction on Park Hopping yet, but Disney does note that reservations do not guarantee access to a theme park that might have Park Hopping restrictions due to capacity concerns.

Reservations for dining experiences, Droid Depot, Savis Workshop and other pre-booked experiences do not guarantee access to a park, and Park Hopper availability may change daily. Disney World website

Disney recommends that guests make dining reservations at their home park that is, the theme park that they have a Disney Park Pass reservation at. Given that advice from Disney, it stands to reason that guests will always have access to their home park, even if it is at capacity for Park Hopping. Using our earlier example of wanting to hop from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom, if we were to leave EPCOT for lunch at the resort and want to reenter in the afternoon, we would be able to reenter EPCOT even if it is closed to Park Hopping because it is our home park.

When To Reserve Your Table

Please note: If you are making a reservation for a restaurant in a theme park, you will also need valid admission and a theme park reservation.

All guests can book reservations for Disney restaurants 60 days in advance. If you are staying at a Disney-owned resort, you can make reservations up to 69 days in advance .

  • Guests of Swan/Dolphin, Disney Springs resort area hotels and offsite hotels who want to make Advance Dining Reservations as early as possible must call or go online one day at a time, beginning at 60 days before their first vacation day. To make Advance Dining Reservations, go online, use the MyDisneyExperience app or call . You do not need a resort reservation linked in order to book a reservation at 60 days out the resort reservation is only needed to book all your reservations for multiple days at one time at the 60-day mark.
  • Keep in mind that for many reservations, 60 days is plenty. Most times of year, you dont really need to take advantage of the resort-guest early booking unless you are trying to get a seriously hard booking . At peak periods like Christmas or spring break, some other popular restaurants can book up on the first day of availability, or can book up all the normal dining times.
