Below, weve listed only hotels offering shuttle service to both Universal and Disney.Be sure to check with the hotel to confirm the specific details about the shuttle service as they can change.
Also, shuttle service times may be limited, so consult the schedule before planning theme park activities. At some hotels, you can reserve your shuttle space in advance, while others have a first-come, first-serve policy. Most shuttles often make only one or two stops within each theme park, so allow time to get from your shuttle stop to the specific places you want to visit.
Finally, many Orlando hotels also have a partnership with either Universal or Disney. Their partnership status can enable hotel personnel to help you with ordering theme park tickets.

All Star Music Resort Disney Value Resort Suites
Accommodations Up to 6 people
The All Star Music Resort is one of the best Disney World hotels for a large family traveling on a tight budget. The only downside is the rooms are not as nice as the newer rooms at the Art of Animation. This can still be a great option for Disney accommodations for 5 or Disney accommodations for 6.
Just like at the Art of Animation, all guests staying at the All Star Music Resort will enjoy the on-site pools, free activities, and other benefits of staying at a Disney World hotel.
Disney World Accommodations For Large Families Tip #3
When researching Disney resorts for large families always consider if you should purchase Disney vacation club points off the second market. Im not going to get into too much detail as you would have to do this outside booking directly through Disney. However this has been a great way for families to book cheap Disney World resorts with suites.
Don’t Miss: Low Crowds At Disney World
Disney World Accommodations For Large Families Tip #1
Always ask if connecting or adjoining rooms are available when pricing out Disney rooms for large families. Many resorts at Disney do have adjoining rooms. The ONLY DOWNSIDE is Disney will accept the request however they will not guarantee these requests.
One of the easiest things you can do to have a better chance of receiving a connected room is to travel during the off-season at Walt Disney World. To plan your trip during the slow times at Disney be sure to check out our Disney Crowd Calendar. We break down park crowds, ticket prices, and the average temperature during that time of year.

Best Disney World Resort Restaurants
Eating is one of the most important factors of any vacation. Sure, a good meal heck, even a just-ok meal can fuel you through your day, but a great meal can help make your trip even more memorable. The same can be said at Walt Disney World. Yes, mediocre pizza, burgers, and chicken strips are pretty standard theme park fare, and youll certainly find them there. However, why settle for mediocre or standard when you could savor something thats a cut above the rest.
Thats why we decided to round up our list of the best Disney World resort restaurants. The Most Magical Place on Earth has a smorgasbord of dining options to choose from. And while you will find a fair-few worthwhile restaurants in the theme parks, some of the best Disney World dining can be actually be found in the hotels. Disneys Polynesian Village Largest Rooms At Disney World
Accommodations Up to 9 people
Disneys Polynesian Village is a great choice for guests looking for extra space. The family suites at Disney Worlds Polynesian resort are the largest among all of the Deluxe resorts. Just like the Contemporary resort, this hotel is located on the monorail line and is a close distance to the Magic Kingdom theme park. It is also home to some of the best restaurants in all of Walt Disney World. The only downside is you cannot walk to the Magic Kingdom however we dont see that being a deal breaker.
Guests can choose from suites located at the club level of the Polynesian resort. They can also purchase DVC points to use towards the bungalows located directly next to Bay Lake. Be sure to spend one night on the beach to check out the amazing Magic Kingdom fireworks!
Disney World Value Resort #: Disneys Art Of Animation Resort
Despite the competition, Disneys Art of Animation Resort snagged our number one spot, hands down. Opened in 2012, Art of Animation is by far the newest of the Disney Value Hotels. This is reflected in the modern room fixtures, the immersive theming and the creative design. While All-Star Movies is more “classic Disney,” Art of Animation will have your whole family leaping with joy when they see the modern Disney references.
We give Art of Animation the nod as the best Disney Value Resort because of the well-appointed Family Suites. Three out of four sections of the hotel are dedicated Family Suites. The Little Mermaid section offers Standard rooms only. The price of these good-sized Family Suites puts the room cost on the higher end of the value scale, yet, for large families or groups, they are perfect.
Theming makes its way into every detail of each room. Shower tiles feature movie backgrounds such as Ariels cavern of treasures. Colorful scenes cover the walls, and each room fixture has a nod to the film at hand such as the “Car Wash” sign vanity in the Cars suites. At 277 square feet, these Standard rooms are larger than other Disney Value Hotels. The Family Suites offer three sleeping areas, two bathrooms and a kitchenette and sleep six. Note that the Standard rooms are priced higher than the other value hotels.
