Other Epcot Holiday Activities
As much as we love tucking into something tasty while tapping our toes to the music, theres more to this Epcot Christmas-Around-the-World Extravaganza than cookies and carols. So whether youre on the hunt for an activity to make the adult-friendly Epcot a little more kid-friendly or are simply searching for that special souvenir, youll find it at the International Festival of the Holidays.
Olafs Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt
We love a good Disney World scavenger hunt. Not only are they fun for the whole family, but they never fail to keep the theme parks fresh no matter how many times youve been before. This merry quest features everyones favorite snowman, Olaf, as he sets about searching for holiday traditions.
Your scavenger hunt map and accompanying stickers can be purchased from either Creations Shop, Port of Entry or World Traveler at International Gateway for $9.99 plus tax, while supplies last. Then, once youve tracked down all those wayward traditions, head back to the store to redeem your complimentary gift.
Living with the Lands Merry Makeover
With its leisurely tour of Epcots greenhouses, Living with the Land is both relaxing and educational. But, this attraction gets even better during the holiday season thanks to a yuletide takeover twinkle lights included. While it cant quite match the jolly spirit of Magic Kingdoms Jingle Cruise, this understated alternative is still worth a ride.

Mele Kalikimaka Holiday Kitchen
At this booth, you will find my favorite item from this years festival the Haupia. Sadly, it is not gluten-friendly. However, if you are not worried about cross-contamination, you can eat the pudding from the top, avoiding the part close to the thin cake at the bottom. I hope they bring this back in little dishes next year without the cake. It is wonderfully delicious and refreshing.
- Lomi Lomi Salmon served with Tomatoes, Onions, Salmon Roe, Yuzu Mayonnaise, and Yucca Chips: this dish is not marked but it is gluten and dairy-friendly. Contains soy in mayonnaise, onion and garlic in the salmon. There is no corn in this dish.
- Haupia Hawaiian coconut pudding with candied macadamia nuts and coconut contains eggs, coconut, guava puree, sugar, corn starch, and dairy. The macadamia nuts contain sugar and soy lecithin and can be omitted.

Candlelight Processional Returns Nov 26 For The Epcot International Festival Of The Holidays
As part of our Halfway to the Holidays celebration earlier this year, we shared a sneak peek of some of the magical experiences coming during a spectacular season of holiday joy during the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. That wasnt everything we have in store, though, and today Disney is thrilled to share that the Candlelight Processional will be back this year, Nov. 26 Dec. 30, 2021 as part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth!
Candlelight Processional is a long-standing Disney Parks tradition, dating back to 1958 at Disneyland park. Walt Disney World guests have enjoyed the annual Candlelight Processional since 1971, initially at Magic Kingdom Park and since 1994 at EPCOT. After being greatly missed during last years holiday season, this magnificent production will once again grace the America Gardens Theatre with a live orchestra, cast choir, and celebrity narrator retelling the traditional Christmas story in spectacular and heartwarming fashion.
Disney is still working to confirm the schedule of celebrity narrators and details about Candlelight Processional Dining Packages, so stay tuned. Well share all the information as soon as its available.

Admission Is Included With Your Disney Park Ticket
Given all that’s included, this sounds like it would be an expensive upgrade to your current Disney ticket. Wrong. Admission to the festival is included with your regular park admission ticket. The winter is an ideal time to visit Central Florida as to avoid the scorching hot temperatures found there most of the year. You’ll also get to experience the very special holiday overlays of certain attractions.
Living With The Land is a boat attraction in Epcot that takes you on an agricultural journey through greenhouses while learning about conservation and the future of farming. For the holidays, it receives a merry makeover with the addition of Christmas lights and decor, including colorful wreaths and snowmen.
The feasting isn’t limited to the holiday kitchen marketplaces year-round food and beverage locations get in on the action as well. Did you really visit a theme park if you didn’t scarf down a funnel cake? We think not. For the holidays, Epcot takes their regular funnel cakes and gives them a major upgrade in the form of a sweet potato casserole funnel cake. If you’re looking to turn it up a bit , you can find T.G. Lee Eggnog loaded with spiced rum. Even your average coffee gets a twist in the form of a Caramel Tinsel Latte from Joffrey’s, the official specialty coffee of Walt Disney World. Epcot is awesome year-round, but these little touches make it an extra special time to visit.
Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade
Many attendees say that Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is the most magical parade the park offers. Special lighting and music will have you feeling the holiday spirit in no time. You’ll see many seasonal characters dance down Main Street, U.S.A., including gingerbread men, reindeer, and rumor has it that Santa Claus himself may make an appearance! But nothing really compares to the hallmark of the parade: a dazzling snowfall! The parade kicks off in Frontierland and has two performance times: 8:30 PM and 11:00 PM.
Minnies Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
This fireworks show is hosted by Minnie Mouse herself and celebrates the magic of Christmas featuring well-known Christmas favorites such as Joy to the World and Deck the Halls to Up on the House Top and We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
Fireworks begin over Cinderella Castle at 10:00 PM. Line up early for a good spot!
During the event you can also see classic and popular Disney characters dressed in seasonal fashion along with rare appearances from Santa, Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws and Scrooge McDuck.
And don’t forget the food options! Complimentary seasonal sweets and beverages will be available all throughout the park.
