Disney World Baby Care Center

Take Advantage Of Disney Baby Care Center Locations

planDisney: Baby Care Centers | Walt Disney World Resort

I discovered these mere moments after changing my baby in the restroom. It was a lifesaver! Changing tables galore, nursing rooms, rockers, a play area for older siblings to wait, and a full kitchen in which to prepare, rinse, and heat food .

Had I forgotten anything, I could have purchased a wide array of baby products including baby food and Pedialyte. Theyre all available for sale at the centers.

It was, quite simply, heaven for a Traveling Mom. During the summer, its also a great escape from the heat. There is a Disney Baby Care Center in each of the four Disney parks in Florida. Heres where to find them.

We love sharing tips and stories with our fellow Traveling Grandparents. Join our to become part of our community!

Magic Kingdom: The Baby Care Center is located off of Main Street between Caseys and Crystal Palace. There is also a First Aid Station here.

Epcot: The Baby Care Center is located in the Odyssey Building. If you are walking from the front of the park towards the World Showcase, it is on the left between Test Track and Mexico. You take the little bridge over the water to get to it.

Disneys Hollywood Studios: This Baby Care Center is the easiest to find in my opinion. Its located right at the entrance to the park near Guest Relations. It will be on your left as you enter.

Animal Kingdom: The Baby Care Center is located in the Discovery Island area. Its past Pizzafari, next to Creature Comforts.

    Sun Protection Is Not Optional

You thought an angry tired baby was bad? How about your own personal cranky crispy lobster? Coat your baby in sunscreen before heading out to the parks, put a big floppy hat on them and make sure your stroller has an adequate sun hood. Reapply the sunscreen liberally. I love Neutrogenas sunblock stick. It is easy to put on and not as gooey as liquids. Bonus points: If you forget to take it out of the diaper bag before you go through airport security, its not a liquid!

TravelingMom Tip: Everyone, including older kids and grown ups, should use sunscreen. Just because youre an adult doesnt absolve you from being a cranky sunburn victim.

    Benefit Of Baby Care Centers

I personally prefer using the Baby Care Centers over using a changing station in a restroom. I Like the fact that it is a nice, quiet, and cool environment. Get us out of the hot Florida sun!

Anyone can come in, so my husband can assist me if I need. My older child can cool off in the air conditioning and enjoy some Disney cartoons or movies that are playing while his brother eats or gets his diaper changed.

The Baby Care Centers are a great place for a quiet cool off, change diapers, or feed little ones. Some essential baby items are for sale as well.

In Florida you can nurse in any public setting. However, I personally preferred to nurse my babies in the Baby Care Centers. Everyone enjoyed the quiet and air conditioned break from the noise of the park.

The disappointing piece to these Baby Care Centers? There is only one in each park, and they are not always centrally located.

Changing Area In A Quiet Space

Practically all restrooms across Walt Disney World property have changing stations in them. However, the regular restrooms can often get crowded and sometimes you have to wait for a changing table to become available. Each Baby Care Center at the four theme parks has a room with multiple changing tables in it. Each changing table has a paper liner to be switched out after each child.

Sometimes changing a baby or toddlers diaper becomes a wrestling match. It can be tough to wrangle your child while other guests wait or are coming and going around you. Even when the parks were busy, I never had an issue with finding an available changing table at any of the Baby Care Centers. And now that physical distance space is more important than ever, these changing rooms are even more valuable.

Baby Care Centers Hosted By Huggies

Another thing worth mentioning is Disneys Baby Care Centers, hosted by the diaper brand Huggies).

Baby Care Centers are areas that provide parents with a convenient place to nurse, feed, and change their infants and toddlers. They are located within all 4 of Disneys theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.

These parenting zones provide privacy and plenty of helpful amenities so you can tend to your little ones.

    Other Baby Care Centers Locations?

Disney Worlds resort hotels, Disneys water parks, and Disney Springs do not have Baby Care Centers. However, baby changing stations are located in most restrooms at these locations.

    Disney Baby Care/lost Children Center

When touring Walt Disney World with an infant, there are times when it is necessary to have a quiet place to rest and recharge. Each of the four main theme parks contain a Baby Care Center as a resource for families with small children. These centers are located near the First Aid centers in the parks, and are also the place where children who cannot find their parents are taken. The Baby Care Centers vary at each park, but they each have quiet, private places to nurse. The centers also have changing tables and a small sitting room with a television. These locations are staffed by cast members who are willing to help with any reasonable request. The Baby Care Centers also sell a few infant supplies in case of emergency, including diapers, onesies, and baby food. There are very limited choices among these supplies, but they are available if necessary. As mentioned above, the Baby Care Center is also the place where lost children are taken. If the unthinkable occurs, and you are ever separated from your child, the Baby Care Center is probably where they can be found, and parent and child can be reunited once again. The Baby Care Center is a great location to rest and recuperate for any family with small children.

How The Care Centers Are Staffed At Disney Parks

Inside Walt Disney World Baby Care Centers- See INSIDE of all four baby centers at all four parks

The Baby Care Centers are generally open from 9 am to park close, though hours may vary. For the most part, if the tiny ones are at the parks, the area is staffed and open. Youll find a costumed Cast Member at the ready to help you locate both the areas and the items you need.

According to Disney policy, a child who becomes separated from his or her parents while in the park will be escorted by a Cast Member to the Baby Care Center. Once there, the child will be looked after until the parent comes to claim the child after all, parents are the ones that get lost, right?

Keep in mind that mealtimes can cause the centers to be congested as little ones are having meals warmed and given to them. There are no reservations required for these areas, so first come, first served!

While the water parks, Resort hotels, and Disney Springs do not include Baby Care Centers, baby changing stations can be found in most restrooms. If youre looking for the savviest place to take a baby on vacation, youll be happy to hear that each Disney Resort Hotel offers pools, general stores with supplies for kids, yellow foods in every restaurant, and an optional pack n play in your hotel room by request .
