Best Princess Experience At Disney World

Try The One Of A Kind Snacks

The Princess Experience: Travel Around the World in Epcot at Walt Disney World | Disney Princess

There are famous delights at Disney World that are only available in the park. So when choosing a snack, consider something that is one of a kind, and unique to Disney World. Sure, cotton candy and popcorn are good, but they are probably as good everywhere else.

Go for the Pineapple Dole Whip from Adventureland instead of cotton candy, or get the Cinnamon Almonds from Frontier Land instead of popcorn.

While the Ice Cream tastes like regular ice cream, it simply wouldnt be a good old fashioned trip to Disney World without an iconic Mickey Ice Cream bar from Mickeys Premium Ice Cream Bar, available all over the park. You could have a regular burger and fries, or you could go into Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom and get a waffle sandwich .

Paying a visit to Epcot? Oh. Goodness. Get ready.

With all the delicious things at Epcot, you really cant go wrong. Whatever you do, you must visit Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie and get a Napoleon, Chocolate Croissant, Macaroons or all of the above. In new Fantasyland? Try The Grey Stuff and only available at the Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom.

Dine At Victoria And Alberts

If your ideal splurge at Disney is laying out the cash to have an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime meal, you should absolutely dine at Victoria and Alberts. But, be aware, it is tough to get a table at this Five Diamond Award winning restaurant in Disneys Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Dining at Victoria And Alberts is the perfect splurge for a couple and of course, all foodies!

It will run you $250 a person, plus $150 per person if you add the wine pairing . It will also be a delicious eight course meal that you will not forget. Think langoustines, glazed quail, and Kobe beef!

One of the coolest things about Victoria and Alberts is that they offer a full vegetarian menu! This is a rarity and something as a vegetarian, I am extremely grateful for. For my fellow vegetarians I promise you will not be served a salad or a bland pasta!

Hungry yet? Check out the menus here.

Boma: An African Cuisine Smorgasbord

Unlike the other restaurants listed above, Boma of Africa is located within Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort. As soon as you make your way to the waiting area, you are immediately hit with the mesmerizing aroma flowing from the kitchen. Choose from a large spread of African and American-inspired cuisine served buffet style. The food at Boma is incredible and will surely be a crowd-pleaser! You have so many options to choose from: Delicious proteins, mouthwatering soup selections, food options that younger children might enjoy, delicious salads and vegetarian specialities, fulfilling side dishes, and heavenly desserts. And the best part? It is an all-you-can-eat meal, so no one will be leaving this restaurant feeling hungry!

Boma features a uniquely themed atmosphere that reflects what an African marketplace may look like. If you direct your gaze upward, you will notice drapes of decorative rugs covering the majority of the ceiling, further alluding to the central theme. The staff members are very reliable and are quick to clear any unwanted plates, leaving you room to add new dishes. After your meal, make your way upstairs into the main lobby and then outside to view some grazing animals. You are your family will fall in love with the cuisine and atmosphere at Boma, so be sure to dine here! If you would like to learn more about this restaurant, the Disney Website offers a wide range of information that will be of use to you.

Which Disney Resort Is The Most Enchanting For Little Girls

Considering Animal Kingdom and Wilderness Lodge but was wondering if there is a resort that might appeal more to my girly, little princess-lovers!!

Will be visiting Magic Kingdom for 2 days and Sea World 1 day.

The Grand Floridian some might say is the place to stay. If it’s in the budget, go for it but we quite like the Wilderness Lodge, about half the price and very Lovely. It is a nice Boat ride away to the Magic Kingdom. It is very peaceful and relaxing, that’s quite a treat after spending your Days at the Busy Parks

The Grand Floridian would be a wonderful choice, for “girly-girls”. If you are traveling after March 2012, the new “Princess Rooms” at Port Orleans Riverside, would be a fun choice. It will be much more budget friendly than the Grand Floridian, but further away from the Magic Kingdom.

Whatever you decide, have a magical trip!

Our daughter is as girly-girl a princess as you could find anywhere. When she was little she’d always tell us all about how much she wanted to stay at the Grand Floridian. Unfortunately back then we were po’ folks camping at Ft. Wilderness and could only wave as we passed the Grand during every boat ride over to the Magic Kingdom. She didn’t get to stay there until last year after her college graduation and really, really loved it. The Grand is an over the top frillly, flowery wedding cake of a hotel-perfect for little girls. 🙂

Maybe the dinner at the Castle/??

have a fabulous time making your plans, and on your trip!! +))

Take Advantage Of Easy Transportation

Disney World Travel Geek

One huge benefit of staying at Disneys Grand Floridian resort is access to the Disney parks we all know and love! Disney expert Victoria Yore from Disney Trippers explained that there are various ways to access the parks from the resort, including busses, the monorail, and a boat ride.

The number one amenity at the Grand Floridian for us is the accessibility to the Magic Kingdom. Other than the amazing room, this is what youre paying for when you stay at the Grand. Being able to hop on the monorail and knowing the next stop is the Magic Kingdom is absolutely lifesaving, said expert Lisa DiNoto of The Castle Run.

You can also walk to the Magic Kingdom!

The Grand Floridian is within walking distance to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom, which cuts down on your time waiting in lines for transportation, added Victoria.

Crowds Disney World Tips And Tricks

There is nowhere more fun and magical than Disney World. However, crowds and lines have a way of damping enthusiasm. Scheduling a Disney vacation outside of peak crowd times is always advisable, but not always feasible due to work schedules, family obligations, etc.

No matter what time of year you visit Disney World, there are ways to minimize the impact of crowds. Here are a few Disney World tips and tricks for dealing with crowds.

  • First and foremost, consult the MagicGuides Walt Disney World Crowd Calendar before planning your trip. This will give your up-to-date park information and crowd size expectations for each of Disneys four theme parks.
  • Crowds are typically lower when kids are in school. Holiday weeks , spring break, and the summer months are usually the most crowded times at Disney World.
  • Arrive at the park before it opens, regardless of the time of year. We suggest arriving 30-45 minutes before scheduled opening times. Midday sees the highest crowds, so we suggest taking any lunch break or rest period at this point. Crowds normally diminish later in the afternoon.
  • You will often find the longest lines towards the middle. Seek outshorter lines furthest to the sides.
  • If you dont mind splitting up your group, single-rider lines tend to have much shorter wait times. These rides include Test Track, Expedition Everest, and Rock n Roller Coaster.
  • If youve seen the parade before, skip it. Lines at attractions are often shorter during parade times.

Disneys Art Of Animation Resort

Disneys Art of Animation is the king of Value resorts at Disney World. Its the newest of the category and has a whole lot going for it. The experience isnt exactly the same as at our favorite Moderate and Deluxe resorts, but Art of Animation can easy on your pocketbook while still offering a good amount of magic.

The Art of Animation resort is filled with bright colors, memorable Disney cartoon characters and its now very accessible to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios thanks to the new Disney Skyliner gondola system.

The Art of Animation resort really shines with its family suites, which offer a lot more room and have three beds in each suite . The family suites have The Lion King,Cars and Finding Nemo themes, while standard rooms are Little Mermaid-themed.

The Big Blue Pool at Art of Animation is actually the largest hotel pool at any Disney World resort. Youll find your favorite Nemo characters hanging around and you can even enjoy underwater music as you swim.

The food here wont blow you away, but Landscape of Flavors is a reliable cafeteria-style venue.

Outside of Art of Animation, our best advice, if you are booking a value resort, is to pick one that has been recently renovated. It still may not be your most exciting hotel stay ever, but a new room is better than an old room. For example, TPGs Katie Genter recently stayed in All-Star Movies, which is pretty fresh off a new room look.

Mickey At Town Square Theater

The Princess Experience: Visit Every Country in Epcot | Disney Princess

Mickey is looking swell and ready to meet you at the Town Square Theater on Main Street. The Main mouse himself is dressed in a bright blue tux and ready for the 50th Anniversary Celebration. I love this meet and greet. Mickey is looking fresh and dapper!

Be sure to head backstage and discover props and posters from Mickeys illustrious theatrical career. Then smile and grab that classic Disney Photo during your special Mickey meet and greet!

All The Ways To Find Princesses At Disney World

When I think about finding the princesses at Disney World, I automatically think of character sightings, of course. There’s just something magical about seeing the princesses in person as they’re waving directly at you! But there are other ways the princesses and their influential presence may appear across the resort, whether it’s an animatronic on a ride or a painting in a princess-themed hotel room.

Princess Sightings

Nowadays, you can count on seeing the princesses in cavalcades, flotillas and other socially distanced character sightings. However, we feel like we see more princesses now than ever! And keep a close eye out each princess has her own greeting style. Even waves can be unique to particular princesses.

If you want to see as many princesses as you can in one park, head to Magic Kingdom! You can see the majority of the Disney princesses through character cavalcades as they journey through Frontierland and down Main Street. To get your princess fix, don’t miss the Royal Princess Processional, with Merida, Rapunzel, Tiana, Aurora, Mulan, Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, Ariel, Cinderella, Elena and the Fairy Godmother. Catch our favorite voyager, Moana, in the Magic Kingdom Cavalcade. You can check the My Disney Experience app for cavalcade showtimes. Various characters may also randomly appear at the top of the train station in Main Street to allow for more interactions.

Princess Play Areas

Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel

You can’t miss this 90-horse carousel attraction, which is located smack-dab in the middle of the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland. Formerly named Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel, this attraction is themed after Cinderella’s iconic 1950s film.

Painted scenes from the classic animation can be seen around the top of the ride. Meanwhile, songs from a variety of Disney films including “Someday My Prince Will Come,” from Snow White, “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast, and “Chim-Chim-Cher-ee” from play as the attraction spins around.

Fit For A Princess: Walt Disney World For Little Girls

Spending the day at Walt Disney World has always been one of my favorite family experiences, but seeing Disney World with a three-year-old girl is something quite special.

Like many little girls, little Amélie can recite her favorite Disney princesses in a flash. She has a wide assortment of princess dresses on hand, suitable for any occasion, and a vast array of princess shoes, tiaras, and even little purses. Being a princess is serious business when youre three.

There were three generations of family along on our recent trip to Walt Disney World, but little Amélie was definitely the star.

Her face lit up with wonder as she skipped down the streets of the Magic Kingdom. When I glanced over at her parents, their faces were lit up with joy the joy of seeing their little girl happy.

This is one of the reasons that Walt Disney World continues to be one of the most popular familiar vacation experiences. Sure, Walt Disney World tickets are pricey, but treasured family memories are priceless.

While Walt Disney World is fun for kids of all ages , experiencing it through a little girls eyes is a unique experience.

I saw that first-hand when we stopped into the World of Disney at Downtown Disney Marketplace. The large store is filled with dresses and accessories for all the Disney princesses, and Amélie ran from display to display in delight.

Within seconds, Amélie had a long line of little girls behind her waiting to see themselves in the mirrors princess attire.

Biergarten: An Oktoberfest Celebration

3 Character Dining Experiences You Can

Make your way down to Epcots World Showcase for this restaurant. Biergarten Restaurant is located in the Germany pavilion and is a great option for dining in terms of food and entertainment. Traditional German dishes that one would see during Oktoberfest are served in the buffet area. The food selections are hearty and delicious, so you will be leaving fully satisfied! Some options are as follows:

1. Sauerkraut

2. Spaetzle

3. Schnitzel

4. Traditional Sausages

5. Frikadellen

As you enter the dining room, you will notice that the restaurant is themed, with replicated German houses aligning the walls. There is also a stage that is intended to be the main focal point of the restaurant. Every 30 minutes or so, a Bavarian band will entertain you by singing classic German songs and by inviting guests to the dance floor. This experience is truly unforgettable! The hosts and waiters/waitresses are very friendly and are dressed in costumes that resemble Oktoberfest clothes. The ambiance is spot on and I highly recommend coming here! You and your family will have a great experience and will want to come dine at Biergarten Restaurant on your next vacation.

Mickeys Royal Friendship Fair

Just because Mickey’s in the name doesn’t mean this attraction isn’t full of Disney Princess. In fact, the stars of Disney’s modern animated classics including Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled, Tiana, Naveen, and Louis from The Princess and the Frog, and Olaf, Anna, and Elsa from Frozen all take the stage during this production.

The show takes place at the front of Cinderella’s Castle at various times throughout the day, and the characters perform the music from their films. It all ends with the princesses and the Mickey Mouse gang performing “With a Smile and a Song” from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in unison.
