What Are The Hardest To Get Restaurant Reservations
Not all ADRs are created equal and some sell out very quickly and are much harder to book. The hardest Advanced Dining Reservations at Disney World are:
- Cinderellas Royal Table
- Victoria & Alberts
- Chef Mickeys
- Ogas Cantina
There are a lot of other hard-to-get reservations, but those are the hardest. If you plan on dining at any of those restaurants, we suggest you be ready to book a table first-thing in the morning on the very first day you are eligible to make reservations.
That wraps up our rankings of the best Disney World restaurants. We hope you enjoyed it and that you now have everything you need to book all the restaurants for your trip. It was one of the hardest rankings posts weve done. There were a lot of popular places to eat we left off our top table service restaurants list, we just couldnt name them all.
We want to hear what your top Disney World restaurants are, so drop them in the comments!

Best Restaurants At Disney Springs
Where do we even begin? There are so many tasty options here! Its hard to narrow it down. From snack stands, bakeries, doughnut shops, quick-service, table-service, lounges and everything in between, you almost cant go wrong when dining at Disney Springs. Its almost painful to choose, but in no particular order, heres our top three!
- Wine Bar George
- Raglan Road
- The Boathouse
Each of the three table-service restaurants has a crazy-good atmosphere and phenomenal food. Wine Bar George is, of course, known for its incredible wine selections. We loved the Skirt Steak and Cheese Board there as well. Raglan Road offers traditional Irish food, and Irish dancers and live musicians perform nightly! Finally, the Boathouse is known for its fresh Seafood, top-notch theming and gorgeous outdoor seating. Perfect for a date night or dinner for the whole family, these three locations do not disappoint.

The Best Disney World Food And Where To Find It In The Parks
There is no one single type of Disney food. Yes, there are some Mickey-shaped snacks and the standard theme park fare, but the most distinguishing feature of Disney World food is its sheer variety. The menus at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disneys other Orlando theme parks rotate based on seasonality, special events like the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, and park celebrations and anniversaries.
Among the permanent Disney dining options offered year-round, though, there are some snacks and meals so good you may find yourself park-hopping just to grab another bite. Here are the best foods at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

Topolinos Terrace At Disneys Riviera Resort
Enjoy an all-encompassing roof-top view of the entire Disney World theme park from this lovely terrace. Mickey and his friends will join you for breakfast or dinner, all equipped with unique outfits to match the Topolino Terrace theme.
France and Italy inspire the cuisine here. You can enjoy classic items like a fresh vegetable Quiche Gruyere for breakfast or a Lobster Fettuccine for dinner. It will cost around $60 per adult to dine here.
Worst Animal Kingdom Restaurants
Ill be blunt. Dont even let your kids know that Restaurantosaurus exists. With hot dogs and chicken nuggets, your little ones will be begging you to go, but there are better kid-friendly dining options within Animal Kingdom! Yak and Yeti offers teriyaki chicken breast that your children are bound to love, and Tiffins kids menu is filled with options perfect for them. The bottom line: dont waste your money at Restaurantosaurus.
There are so many Rainforest Cafés around the world, so why waste your time at Animal Kingdom by going to it? If you really want to try their food, you can try it somewhere else outside of Disney World. Plus, at an average of $25 to $30 per entrée, its certainly not worth the price. There are MUCH better options at Animal Kingdom, like the ones listed above.

Disney World Resort Dining 101
First things first can anyone eat at Disney World resort restaurants? Yes! Diners do not need to be staying at the hotel to be able to eat at one of its restaurants. In fact, we love eating at Disney resort hotel restaurants because it gives us a chance to do a little resort hopping, one of our favorite things to do outside the theme parks.
With so many Disney World restaurants to choose from, especially at the hotels, and so few vacation days, it can be difficult to decide which you want to squeeze into your trip. Many minutes are spent waiting in line for rides or on the Disney buses during your already-expensive vacation, so the last thing you want to do is feel like youre wasting time on a meal that isnt worth its price tag.
While well try to help make your Disney dining reservation decisions a bit easier with this list, My Disney Experience is also an invaluable tool for planning where, when, and what youd like to eat. Not only will you need to use it to make your advance dining reservations, as well as join any walk-up lists, but we also like firing up the app to scope out restaurant menus ahead of time. This keeps you from scrambling over where to go at mealtime and helps to save you precious minutes when it comes time to place your order, meaning you can get back out into those ride lines faster.
Best Character Meal For Tweens And Teens: Storybook Dining At Artist Point
One of the newest character meals at Disney World before the pandemic was also one of the best and most unique.
Located inside Disneys Wilderness Lodge , the full three-course meal at Artist Point went well beyond burgers and fries with offerings such as a shrimp cocktail starter and main dishes that include butter-poached snapper and a truly amazing vegetarian dish that features butternut squash, arugula and gnocchi. Theres a trio of included desserts and, best of all, a visit with the Evil Queen herself.
This restaurant hasnt yet made a comeback, but mark it down for a visit when it does reopen.

For less-adventurous eaters, Boma Flavors of Africa at Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House may seem like an intimidating choice for a buffet. However, as many of the items on offer take their inspiration from South African dishes, many things on the buffet will appeal to those with picky palates. Best Disney Springs Restaurants
Located at The Landing and not far from the recognizable Paddlefish boat lies The Boathouse. This unique waterfront dining experience has so much to offer. With a focus on fresh Floridian seafood, dishes like oysters on the half shell, grilled fresh fish tacos, and lobster with orecchiette pasta are all divine. The desserts, such as key lime pie in a mason jar, smores baked Alaska, and macadamia turtle pie, are all on par with the amazing fresh seafood. And with three separate bars, including the Captains Raw Bar, the Admirals Club Bar, and the Dock Bar, theres no shortage of alcoholic drinks to satisfy your adult palette.
Besides the food, the main highlight of The Boathouse is the amphicar experience. These land-sea vessels that resemble vintage convertibles start on land and drive straight into the water! There is also The Venezia boat option available. On this 40-foot Italian water taxi, youll glide around Lake Buena Vista and get a lovely tour.
Because there are so many exciting experiences to have at The Boathouse, it is highly recommended that you make reservations in advance.
Raglan Road Irish Pub
One downside of Raglan Road is that, even if you make a reservation, you may find yourself waiting for quite a while. Thats just how popular this Disney restaurant is!
Best Restaurants At Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Woodys Lunch Box
Playful and fun, this outdoor dining location is for kids of all ages. Themed to look like youve shrunken down to the size of a toy, youll be feasting on beloved childhood favorites but with a modern twist. Menu items include a Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich, Tomato-basil soup and Lunch Box Tarts. Our favorite item is the Totchos. These are potato barrels covered in chili, shredded cheese, queso, tomatoes, corn chips and sour cream. As Jessie would say, YEEHAW!
The Hollywood Brown Derby
As an authentic replica of the Hollywood Brown Derby in California, youll feel as though youve just stepped off the red carpet. This restaurant offers traditional cocktails and classic dishes. The Cobb salad gets all the rave, and when we dine here, you can usually find us munching that or the Char-grilled Filet of Beef. Our favorite way to end our meal is the Grapefruit Cake. So yummy! Not looking for a full meal? Then try a cocktail in the lounge, which offers outdoor seating. This view makes for great people watching and conversing. The lounge is available via first-come, first-serve.

Tonys Town Square Restaurant
- Cost: $$
- Type: Table Service Restaurant
- Cuisine: Italian
If youre a big fan of the Disney animated classic Lady and the Tramp, youll know that Tonys Town Square Restaurant is a recreation of the one in the film. Its just too bad the food here isnt nearly as good as the movie is.
This table service restaurant on Main Street U.S.A. focuses on Italian cuisine obviously with all the classic pasta dishes to choose from. While we want to like Tonys and have occasionally had a decent meal here, this is the worst sit-down meal you can have at the Magic Kingdom. In fact, its the worst Italian restaurant in Disney World if you ask us.
Until the food quality improves, we just cant recommend going to Tonys. Only visit if you absolutely need to have a sit-down meal and all the others are booked up. Then and only then.
What to Get: For an entree you might as well take a scene right from the movie and order the spaghetti and meatballs . The desserts are better than the entrees and the tiramisu is actually pretty good here. The chocolate-hazelnut cake is also a winner.
- Type: Quick Service Restaurant
- Cuisine: American
Tortuga Tavern is a quick service restaurant in Frontierland and one that is constantly changing its menu. Over the years its served Tex-Mex and barbecue, among other things In fact, one of the reasons we have it so low in our rankings is that you never know what they are serving, it seems like its always something new.

Top 10 Disney World Table Service Restaurants
Walt Disney World has tons of table service restaurants, and this list ranks the 10 best. Weve done all of the top dining in WDWs parks, resorts, Disney Springs, plus third-party hotels in Orlando, Florida, and these are our favorites. With so many great options, its difficult to narrow down this list!
Solid choices that didnt make the cut include Narcoossees, Morimoto Asia, Jaleo, Chef Art Smiths Homecomin, Raglan Road, STK, Teppan Edo, Ohana, Kona, and Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. Several of these arguably are more deserving of spots than a few of the restaurants that made the top 10.
Frankly, over half of this list could be dominated by Disney Springs restaurants, which tend to offer better quality and value as they compete with real world dining options. To offer some variety and make this a practical list for tourists, weve made a deliberate effort to include at least one restaurant from inside each of the 4 parks, plus easy-to-access resort restaurants.
Other restaurants have been bumped from the top 10 for a different practical reasonthey still havent reopened after Walt Disney Worlds closure last spring. The reasons for their continued absence are varied, but mostly relate to staffing and demand.
