Lightning Mcqueens Racing Academy
This hybrid attraction/show features a really cool Lightning McQueen audio animatronic figure, which teaches the audience how to race and that is by far the highlight. The special effects on the wrap-around screen are cool too.
We wouldnt really call it a must-do attraction, but its fun. Fans of the Cars franchise will love it and its fun both for kids and adults.
Disney’s Best Park For Food Lovers
It may seem curious to some, but many tourists travel precisely to live gastronomic experiences.
And what few people know is that Disney can indeed be an incredible destination for food lovers. The amount of offers here is incredible!
Many people think that food at Disney is made up of Fast Foods and Burgers. What not everyone knows is that Disney goes far beyond that, including having award-winning restaurants like Victoria & Albert’s in the Disney’s Grand Floridian and many others that are amazing .
Other Things To Do At Disneys Hollywood Studios
Fortunately there are things other than rides for toddlers at Hollywood Studios. There are shows aplenty that toddlers will enjoy here. The Disney Jr. Dance Party! show is tailor-made for toddlers, featuring all their favorite characters from television. This interactive live show includes Mickey from Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Vampirina, Timon from the Lion Guard, and Doc McStuffins. Your toddler is encouraged to sing and dance along. Be aware that all seating is on the floor but little ones can stand up to dance.
Ka-chow! Cars-loving toddlers are going to love Lightning McQueens Racing Academy. This all-ages show is sure to impress your little race fan. There are also stage shows like Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage and Voyage of the Little Mermaid. There is one scary scene in Beauty and the Beast, but its not too bad. If you have Frozen fans, then For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is a cant-miss show! Toddlers get to sing along with Frozens most popular songs.
TravelingMom Tip: If you wonder at all if an attraction or show is appropriate for your toddler, ask the Cast Member stationed at the entrance. They should be able to give you more details on why or why not!

Which Disney Park Has The Best Rides
This is very subjective and it will depend on your overall list, but in our rankings we it came out that Disneys Magic Kingdom has the best rides in Walt Disney World. It has 3 of the top 10 rides but 6 of the top 15. Again having so many more rides helps here.
As a surprise pick Animal Kingdom was also very close to the top having 3 of the top 8 rides at Disney World. Obviously the fact there are so few attractions in this park speaks to the quality of the ones they do have.
Mickey & Minnies Runaway Railway
Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway is one of the newest attractions at Walt Disney World and might move up a few spots as time goes on. Its an interesting ride because it uses some breaking-edge technology to make everything happen.
First, it has trackless vehicles which make the ride very unpredictable not being able to know where you are going next. It also utilizes a new projection mapping technology which fills essentially empty rooms, bringing them to life and being able to change scenes on the drop of a hat.
While the new technology is really cool, we like to see more physical show scenes in rides that could use projection mapping to supplement whats already there. That said, its still a great ride and one of the overall most fun ones at Disney World.

Where To Eat At Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom has the most vegetarian-friendly food in all of Disney World and there are lots of options. For breakfast we love to share a giant Mickey cinnamon roll at Kusafiri Bakery.
On our latest trip, as it was Simons birthday, we had lunch offsite at Sanaa restaurant in the nearby Animal Kingdom Lodge. You can watch giraffe and zebras wandering past as you eat and the Indian food is delicious .
More Fun At Magic Kingdom With Toddlers
It cant be rides all the time because toddlers need to get out of the stroller and explore! Toddler-friendly play areas include the air-conditioned queue inside the waiting area for Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Tom Sawyer Island, and a water play area called Casey Jr. Splash N Soak Station in Storybook Circus. Walt Disneys Enchanted Tiki Room and Country Bear Jamboree are additional show-like attractions that my toddlers loved.
Character meet and greets are a way for toddlers to get up-close and personal with their favorites. Magic Kingdom meet n greets include princesses like Cinderella and Elena of Avalor inside Princess Fairytale Hall, Ariel in her Grotto and Belle from Beauty and the Beast at Storytime with Belle. Youll find Mickey Mouse and Tinkerbell in the Town Square Theater, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger outside of their ride in Fantasyland and other favorites inside Petes Silly Side Show. Find other character locations and times through the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit.

Visit the park’s animals by exploring the walking trails scattered throughout the park, such as the Discovery Island trails and the Maharajah Jungle Trek, or by riding the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. Hop on the Expedition Everest or Kali River Rapids journey for an adventure or spend time at the park’s Affection Section petting zoo for a quieter experience.
Electrical Water Pageant At The Deluxe Magic Kingdom Hotels
Every evening between 9:00pm to 10:35pm, depending on where you view it, theres a little electrical parade that floats by the docks of Magic Kingdom resorts.
While its not particularly impressive its really nostalgic and sweet! It feels a bit like homemade holiday lights passing by, choreographed to old time music but like I said: nostalgic and sweet. And if youre craving a light show outside the parks this will at least give you a taste of it and make you smile.
Note the Electrical Water Pageant can be canceled on any given evening if the weather is unfavorable.

The Hall Of Presidents
If you are a fan of American history, The Hall of Presidents is for you. This attraction has animatronic figures for each president in United States history and is an impressive display seen together.
This one goes way back and continues to be an incredible feat by Walt Disney Imagineering and it doesnt get nearly the love it deserves. Its far more interesting than its reputation leads you to believe and definitely worth doing.

Different Ticket Options At Disney World
So you’ve chosen your parks to prioritize, but which tickets should work best? Base Tickets are admission to one theme park per day. Once you get your tickets, you book your Disney Park Pass Reservation for each day of your visit. If you go to Magic Kingdom for your first day, that is the only theme park you can go to that day.
The Ticket with Park Hopper Option allows admission to more than one theme park per day. You book each park pass at the park you want to start your day at, and then you can go to another park starting at 2 p.m. . You could start at Magic Kingdom and then could go to any park for the afternoon.
The type of ticket depends on the trip you are planning. Park hopping allows for more flexibility, since we know plans always change. For instance, we might start at Animal Kingdom and then park hop to EPCOT for the evening. Families need to weigh if the extra cost of the park hopper option is worth it for them. Some families get the base ticket and make sure they get everything done in that park for the day.

Best Theme Parks In Orlando For Toddlers
Best: Magic Kingdom
Hands down, Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom offers the most magical experience of all of the Orlando theme parks. Guests of all ages, but especially the toddler set, will be able to enjoy a large number of attractions. They can also meet their favorite Disney characters and wonder at the sights and sounds in each of the different lands. For children who are easily scared, there are plenty of rides where they can sit with Mom or Dad. Start them off with Peter Pan’s Flight and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
Character meet-and-greets can be like a dream come true for the toddler age group. The variety of Disney characters hanging out in Magic Kingdom is great. Currently, individual character greetings are unavailable due to social distancing measures. However, you can still see your favorite characters marching through the park in cavalcades or occasionally popping up at random locations from a distance. Whether your tadpole is a Mickey Mouse admirer or one of Buzz Lightyear’s Junior Space Rangers, you’re quite likely to find their favorite Disney character somewhere! All of this leads us to rank Magic Kingdom as the best Disney park for the little ones.

Best Parks At Disney World For A 4 And 8 Year Old
What are the best parks for 4 year olds and 8 year olds in Disney parks and cost?
As an annual pass holder we take our grandchildren there quite often. They range in age from 3 to 10, right in your demo. 1st- Magic Kingdom Park: Stop at the “Be Our Guest” restaurant for lunch, no reservation required and very difficult to get in for dinner. If this is your first time you have to hit the It’s A Small World ride as it is unique but there are just so many things for children . 2nd-Animal Kingdom: The safari ride is great for everyone, if it is warm and you don’t mind getting wet do the Kalahari Rapids ride, fun! 3rd-Disney’s Hollywood Studios: If you get there first thing at opening go directly to the Toy Story ride or at least get a Fast Pass for it. It is an experience even adults like but the Fast Passes go very quickly and by mid-morning the line is looooooong. I’ve seen up to a 2 hour wait. Oh, and if you have girls be sure they get to see all the Disney princesses for thier autographs. Ask when you first enter the park where the best location to see them or Mickey and Minnie would be. There are designated locations that sometimes change. You really cannot go wrong with children as they will love it all but the Magic Kingdom is oriented more for them than is say, Epcot. That park is more for adults and older children. Your 10 year old would likely enjoy it but not the 4 year old. Regardless, HAVE FUN!!!

Walt Disney Studios Park
After improving thanks to the addition of the Ratatouille: the Adventure trackless dark ride a few years ago, Walt Disney Studios Park is once again a park in transition. Several attractions have closed to make way for a brighter future, with only Cars Road Trip opening in 2021.
The good news is that a $2.5 billion plan to inject Marvel, Star Wars, and Frozen into the park is under construction, and will start paying dividends in Summer 2022 when Avengers Campus opens. Walt Disney Studios Park has a promising future, but were still years away from it being a theme park truly worthy of the Disney name. For now, its far and away the worst entry on this list.
