Being able to eat breakfast in the lounge and enjoying snacks and cold drinks in the afternoon can be worth the extra cost of the room. They also provide complimentary bottled water, so if visiting the parks are part of your plans, dont forget to stock your backpack with cold bottled water for the day. It can save you some money in the parks!
Rooms are clean and comfortable, which has always been our experience with Hyatt over the years. Standard rooms come with one king bed or a queen and one double. Suites are also available if you want the extra space, and we used some Hyatt points to upgrade. We ended up with a gorgeous one-bedroom suite with a small kitchenette and an enormous balcony with a couch and table perfect for relaxing and watching the fireworks in the distance from Walt Disney World. Trust us when we say it was a nice break after the kids went to bed to be able to enjoy the peace and quite after a day in the parks. It was pure luck, but it may have been the coolest upgrade we’ve ever received!
As with most hotels these days, wireless internet is complimentary and is available throughout the resort. Camp Hyatt is available for families with children ages 3-12 and includes cool activities like rock climbing, crafts, scavenger hunts, boating, biking, and other games. If the theme parks aren’t exhausting enough, there is also a fitness center where you can sweat it out . If relaxation is more your speed, check out the The Marilyn Monroe Spa.
