Disneys Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
You wont find horses roaming the grounds of Disneys Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, inspired by Saratoga Springs, New York, but you will find an old-fashioned, relaxed environment. The campus-style property, located on 107 acres, offers 1,320 units, from studios to three-bedroom Treehouse Villas. Many villas provide fully equipped kitchens and washers and dryers, with the largest variation sleeping up to nine guests. The hotel, decorated in horse-inspired flare, also features a full-service spa and pool with a waterslide.
Family Of Five Accommodations At Disney Port Orleans Resort
Disney Port Orleans Resort-Riverside is all about the charm. This resort can be confusing because there is a Port Orleans-Riverside and a Port Orleans-French Quarter. Port Orleans-Riverside has the rooms that accommodate 5.
If you stay at one resort you can walk between the two and use the pools at both. They also offer Royal Guest Rooms that have a Royal Princess theme and can be booked for an extra charge.
Value And Moderate Resorts
The Value Resorts at Disney World offer a couple of options for bigger families, including booking two rooms at the All-Star Resorts, Pop Century, or The Little Mermaid section of Art of Animation.
The Art of Animation is also home to Family Suites in the Finding Nemo, Cars, and The Lion King sections of the hotel. These suites feature two bathrooms, a separate bedroom, and can sleep up to six people!
Finding Nemo Suite at Art of Animation
At Disneys All-Star Music Resort, a Deluxe Family Suite is also perfect for families of five or six guests! These suites also have a separate bedroom and two bathrooms.
If youre looking for a Moderate Resort option, there are rooms that sleep five at Port Orleans Riverside or Caribbean Beach Resort. And, families of up to six can enjoy the space in a cabin at Disneys Fort Wilderness!

Disneys Fort Wilderness Cabins Disney Resorts With Suites
Accommodations Up to 6 people
The cabins at Disneys Fort Wilderness was by far one of our favorite Disney experiences. The theming of these cabins really makes you feel as if you are camping on your Walt Disney World vacation. Each cabin is approximately 510 square feet and comes with all of the modern day amenities such as TVs and air conditioning that you might like.
We feel one of the things that make this one of the best Disney hotels for large families is you can sometimes grab an amazing deal. This would allow you to take advantage of the room of a family suite at Disney World for the price of a moderate resort.
Worst Disney Moderate Resorts
The Cabins at Disneys Fort Wilderness Lodge
The Cabins at Disneys Fort Wilderness Lodge offer guests a chance to get away from all of the excitement of the Disney parks and embrace a bit of nature. However, the price point of these cabins may be a bit more than most guests would be willing to pay for a Disney moderate resort.
The onsite activities offered at this Disney World resort definitely make use of this amazing setting. You can try your hand at archery, explore the lake with a canoe or kayak rentals, experience a pony ride, or enjoy an awesome campfire sing-a-long.
While the location is amazing, the cabin also comes fully stocked with amenities. Enjoy access to a full kitchen , a full living room, and a private patio. To make your vacation a little easier, remember to pre-order groceries before your stay.
The Cabins at Disneys Fort Wilderness Lodge only offer one type of room option: a cabin for six. And while that room option is wonderful if you have six people, if youre a couple looking for a nice weekend cabin getaway, its definitely not ideal to have to pay for extra for a cabin that sleeps six.
Because the Cabins at Disneys Fort Wilderness Lodge sleep six , the price is quite a bit higher than the other Disney moderate resorts. In other words, if youre hoping to stay at a Disney moderate resort to save a little bit of money, you probably shouldnt stay at the Cabins at Disneys Fort Wilderness Lodge.

Disneys Coronado Springs Resort
Disneys Coronado Springs Resort is another moderately priced resort that is great for adults. Its huge with many different buildings circling a large lake. In addition, a brand new building, called Gran Destino Tower, recently opened with even more guest rooms and amenities.
In addition to being a family-friendly moderate resort, Disneys Coronado Springs offers a large conference center attracting many conventions. Therefore, it has many adult-friendly activities and amenities that are especially popular in the evenings when the conventions are over for the day.
Restaurants and bars at Coronado Springs include the Rix Sports Bar and Grill, the Dahlia Lounge, the Barcelona Lounge, Siestas Cantina , El Mercado de Coronado , Toledo , the Maya Grill, and the outdoor Laguna Bar. With so many options, you can spend most of your evenings at the hotel if you dont want to venture out.
Coronado Springs Resort is located in the Animal Kingdom area of Walt Disney World, but you arent able to walk to the park. Instead, youll need to take a bus to all four theme parks. This is the one downside of Coronado Springs, but as a moderate resort, youll likely save some money on your trip by booking there instead of one of the deluxe resorts.
Requesting Connecting Or Adjoining Rooms
Large families or travel groups can request connecting or adjoining rooms however Disney will not guarantee these requests.
This was probably because we traveled during low season and the hotel was not at full capacity. Had we absolutely required connecting rooms we would not have taken the chance and booked a room at a resort that could accommodate us all.

Best Resorts For Large Families And Groups At Walt Disney World
Millions of families of all sizes and varieties make the journey to Walt Disney World each year. While most of them find Walt Disney World Resorts accommodating, larger families can face unexpected challenges. Most rooms allow up to four occupants, and families of five or more may not want to book multiple rooms after all, theyre visiting the greatest tourist destination on the planet as a family. Fortunately, Disney created a variety of lodging solutions for such families. Though this isnt an exhaustive list, below youll find nine of the best resorts for large groups.
9 Disneys Art of Animation Resort
Value resort hotels provide magical experiences at low cost, even for families of five or more. Certainly, Disneys All-Star Resorts offer inter-connecting rooms and a limited number of family suites, but both of them are hard to get during the busy season. Consider Disneys Art of Animation Resort, instead, since it was practically built for families. This facility offers family suites that sleep up to six adults, and the incredible themes, daily art lessons, and gigantic pool put all other value resorts to shame.

Disneys Riviera Resort
Disneys Riviera Resort is the newest of all of the Disney World resorts, and its minimalistic yet elegant design portrays that. In its design, Disney definitely took its guests requests into consideration, particularly in terms of transportation and the range of room options.
The transportation situation at Disneys Riviera Resort is fantastic. With the new Skyliner, guests of this Disney World resort can easily travel to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot.
Disneys Riviera Resort also offers a very wide range of room options. While you rent a cozy tower studio for two adults, you can also stay in a three-bedroom villa that sleeps up to twelve people ! Basically, no matter the size of your group, this Disney World resort will have a room for you.
The reason that Disneys Riviera Resort made it onto the worst section of this list of Disney World resorts is that the theming is not nearly as pervasive as it is at other WDW resorts. While its supposed to bring up images of the European Riviera and the Côte DAzur, it simply doesnt.
Disneys Wilderness Lodge
Disneys Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful property that celebrates the beauty of American nature and wilderness. As a guest of this Disney World resort, youll be able to hike, jog, fish, swim, and have a campfire! Basically, you can do anything you would do in one of the U.S. great national parks.

If you are thinking about which Disney hotel is best for toddlers then your search is over.
If your toddler adores wildlife then this lodge is going to be the best option for you to consider for vacations.
This is the only resort from Disney where the kids and their parents are allowed to have an up-close look with some of the featured animals.
If you opt for the Savannah View, you will get a view of different animals from the balcony of your room.
These animals include antelopes, ostriches, and giraffes.
There are some viewing areas from the poolside as well.
The lodge also offers different types of educational activities for toddlers and preschoolers throughout the day.
There is a zero-entry pool with a gentle waterslide.
There is a playground as well as daily crafts along with storytelling, an ideal activity for a 4 year old.
The lodge also has a childcare center for small kids.

Best Disney Value Resorts
Value resorts can be wait for it a way to get exceptional value with Disney resort perks, close proximity to the parks and the free Magical Express Bus to and from Orlando International Airport until the end of 2021. They can also be a big disappointment.
Your mileage will vary, but if youre on a serious budget for your Disney World vacation, they should be a consideration. Prices start a little over $100 per night and go up to nearly $300 per night on peak dates. But, for most of the year, rooms typically sell for under $200 per night.
Disneys Grand Floridian Resort
Disneys Grand Floridian Resort is the poshest and more elegant of the Walt Disney World resort hotels. While it is still very welcoming to families with children, I feel that its one of the best Disney hotels for adults.
Like the Polynesian Resort, the Grand Floridian is located on the monorail. A new walking path connects it directly to the Magic Kingdom, so you can go right there without taking the monorail. Its extremely convenient if you are planning to spent a lot of time in the Magic Kingdom.
The Grand Floridians grand lobby is very welcoming and luxurious. There are several stores and boutiques in the upper lobby areas, and many other of its amenities are great for adults. A Senses Spa sits at the edge of the property and is the perfect spot for a relaxing treatment.
Many of the Grand Floridian dining experiences are perfect for an adult-only vacation. Victoria and Alberts is a fine dining restaurant that is only open to guests over the age of 10. There are several different dining options there, including the chefs table.
Other restaurants at the Grand Floridian include Citricos, 1900 Park Fare, the Enchanted Rose, and Narcoossees. All are great for adults. You can also easily take the monorail to the Contemporary and the Polynesian for other dining options during your vacation.

Walt Disney Worlds Swan Dolphin And Swan Reserve Resorts
Smack dab in the middle of the Disney World property are the Disney Swan and Dolphin resorts, both of which belong to the . A third forthcoming hotel tower, Swan Reserve, will be opening very soon in 2021.
These Category 6 resorts range from a little over $100 to nearly $400 per night, depending on the season, or from 40,000 to 60,000 Marriott points per night.
On nights when the rate is 50,000 points per night or less, you can use a available at hotels in the Marriott Bonvoy program and certain hotels have resort fees with the .
You wont find heavy Disney World theming here, but there are advantages beyond just saving money by using points since both hotels recognize elite benefits of the Marriott Bonvoy program. As long as theres not a big conference in town, you probably even have a decent shot at a suite upgrade if you have .
And breakfast benefits are offered to top-tier elites, with a complimentary continental breakfast available. You can pay a small fee to upgrade to the full breakfast buffet. During normal times, its the only place we know where your gets you a character breakfast with Chip, Dale and Pluto.
In recent years, both the Swan and Dolphin hotels also have much-improved grab-and-go options in the lobby.
Deluxe Resort Villas 5
Another Deluxe resort option is the villas. You can buy points for the villas if you are not a vacation club member. These are perfect for families of 5 to 12, who want to make themselves at home during their stay. The villas have kitchens and all the essentials, so you can make your own meals to help balance the budget. Disney Deluxe resorts have some grocery items for cooking in your villas, but you can also have food delivered to your door if you choose. Villas tend to be more remote and secluded. Not as secluded as a Fort Wilderness Cabin, but you can expect more privacy, a secondary lobby, and more homey quarters.

Disneys Polynesian Villas And Bungalows
Another original Disney World hotel is the Polynesian. Thats a great hotel, but were talking about the newer villas and bungalows set up on the same property!
The Polynesian is renowned for its ambiance, food, and proximity to the Magic Kingdom. The villas and bungalows keep all those beloved items and add modern touches and more space for the bigger family.
These bungalows are built right on the water and have breathtaking views of the surrounding area. They also are big enough to have a washer and dryer as well as separate bedrooms. Privacy can be a little hard to find in some Disney hotels, but thats not a problem here. Relax on the beach before and after you hit the parks.
Disneys Deluxe Resorts And Villas
The Deluxe Resorts including the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Polynesian, Yacht and Beach Club, and Boardwalk Inn are a great choice for families of five. Rooms at all of these resorts feature two queen beds and a sofa bed!
Disneys Yacht Club Resort is great for families of 5!
