Overview Of Be Our Guest Restaurant
As one of the most popular dining locations at Disney World, Be Our Guest creates a memorable experience for the entire family with its French-inspired cuisine and elaborate theming. Guests are toadally immersed into a storybook world, as they dine like royalty at the Beasts enchanted castle in Fantasyland.
Upon Magic Kingdoms reopening, Be Our Guest Restaurant now offers lunch and dinner, both of which feature the same three-course prix fixe menu. It costs $62 per adult and $37 per child, ages 3 to 9. Although not considered an official character dining experience, the Beast makes a special appearance as he walks around the restaurant and greets each of the dining rooms.
However, weve lucked out with walk-in availability as well. During a recent trip to Magic Kingdom, we stopped by around 1 p.m.and asked the host outside at the podium if the restaurant was accepting any walk-ins. She said itd be about a 10-minute wait, so we went for it frogtastic!
Be Our Guest Restaurant At The Magic Kingdom To Reopen As Table Service Only For Lunch And Dinner With Prix Fixe Menu Breakfast Discontinued
If youre among the lucky guests who managed to snag a reservation to the Magic Kingdom in the coming weeks, you may find that dining options around the park may be different upon its reopening on July 11. Be Our Guest Restaurant, located in New Fantasyland, will be reopening, but with slight modifications to its usual service.
Upon reopening, the restaurants popular fast-casual breakfast and lunch service will be discontinued. This service relied on handheld enchanted rose pagers, which may be an issue due to how contact-heavy they are. Additionally, breakfast and lunch offered an open beverage bar with self-serve drinks, utensils, and more. Moving forward, the restaurant will only offer table service at lunch and dinner, with a pricey prix fixe menu available at both:
Disney has updated the Be Our Guest Restaurant landing page with the following description for the modified lunch and dinner service:
The cost of both lunch and dinner will now be $62 for adults and $37 for children . Tax and gratuity are not included. You can view the full menu for lunch and dinner The menu is a pared-down version of the previous prix fixe menu that was available at dinner, with the removal of the escargot from the appetizers, and a swap of Roasted Corn and Spinach Tortellini in lieu of the Spice-dusted Lamb Chops from the entrees.

Book Your Be Our Guest Reservation First
If you are staying at a Disney resort and book your dining reservations at 180 days out, we would advise you to book your restaurants in order of difficulty. Therefore, you should always make your Be Our Guest reservations first, regardless of whether you plan on eating there on the first or last day of your vacation.
We would also recommend that make your Be Our Guest reservations for a day towards the end of your vacation. This is because offsite guests wont have the ability to book those dates yet and your odds will increase the later your reservation dates are.
Finallya Chance To Meet The Beast
Yes, you can meet the Beast at dinner. Dinner is the only time you are able to meet him.
Disney character meals are one of the most unique experiences at WDW. Be Our Guest works a little differently in that you the Beast does not go from table to table and greet guests. Instead, you are able to meet the Beast in a separate room. There is a PhotoPass photographer here to take a photograph for you to keep as a souvenir.

Our Final Thoughts About Be Our Guest Restaurant At Disney World
Tadpoles and frog parents alike will surely love dining as guests of the Beast in his castle. While the breakfast and lunch quick-service options have been removed, you can now see the Beast during lunch and dinner, instead of dinner only. The restaurant is fancy enough to make a meal there feel like a special occasion, but not overly lavish that you’ll feel underdressed in your theme park clothes. We definitely recommend taking your time by eating leisurely and roaming around the restaurant so you can observe all of the details! You won’t be in and out quickly since it’s a three-course meal . So if you’re pressed for time and it’s not a must-do experience, it’s better to sit this one out. “Beauty and the Beast” fans will appreciate the immersive theming, as they dine like their favorite characters. Bon appétit!

Be Our Guest Restaurant Features
When you arrive in the Enchanted Forest of Fantasyland, you cant help but notice the castle perched on top of the mountain.
This is the Beasts Castle from Beauty and the Beast and where you will find the Be Our Guest restaurant.
As you approach the entrance to the Beasts Castle, you will walk over a medieval looking bridge that features some of the most gruesome gargoyles youve ever seen.
The entrance features two large wooden doors flanked with mythological lion statues on either side.
Above, is a beautiful stained glass window that tells the story of Beauty & the Beast with two mythological birds that appear to be looking at guests as they enter.
Once inside Be Our Guest, you come upon the knights in armor, be sure to listen carefully. Some are sleeping and some are having conversations.
It is worth standing a few more minutes in line to experience. Maybe youll even make out what they are saying!
Assorted Meats And Artisanal Cheeses
One can never go wrong with a charcuterie board. This platter of assorted meats and artisanal cheeses is available throughout the meals of the day, but it will hit the palette just right during breakfast especially.
Among the highlights on the board are the chicken rillettes and the Pleasant Ridge cheddar endeavor. Either way, the board works as a sharer on the table, but it can also tag in as a meal for those who just love their meats and cheeses.

Be Our Guest Restaurants Theming And Ambience
All checked in? Youll then cross over the bridge toward the rocky facade, complete with a flowing waterfall, to enter the Beasts castle. Gothic-style gargoyles hold up massive lamp posts along the way and large lion statues guard the doors. Once you step inside, theres a beautiful mosaic of Beauty and the Beast on the left and a corridor with knights in armor on the right. When its time to be seated, youll proceed through the foyer to enter the Grand Ballroom.
At Be Our Guest, the restaurant is split into three enchanting dining areas the Grand Ballroom, the Castle Gallery and the West Wing transporting you right into a storybook setting. The details are so captivating that youll froget youre at a theme park!
The elegant Grand Ballroom is centrally located and the largest of the three dining rooms. It has a high, domed ceiling, chandeliers, columns and archways, and was designed to be a replica of the ballroom in the beloved animated film. We love sitting by the floor-to-ceiling windows where you can watch snow falling outside in the night sky. Be sure to look up at the ceiling as well. Youll see a mural of cherubs, which are said to be the faces of Disney Imagineers babies. Because of its size, the room can be quite loud. However, the tables are spaced out for physical distancing, so the dining room does not fill up as much as before.
The Interior Of Be Our Guest Restaurant
Be Our Guest serves French-inspired cuisine in three dining rooms within Beasts castle. The dining rooms include 1. a ballroom modeled after where Belle and the Beast danced and adorned with chandeliers, 2. the West Wing where the rose is kept, and 3. a gallery with paintings and a music box depicting Belle and Beast.
There are high medieval windows throughout, murals of characters from the film, as well as the Enchanted Rose. The interior is really quite spectacular!

Is Be Our Guest Restaurant Counter
Unfortunately, no the counter-service breakfast and lunch have been done away with since the restaurant reopened on July 11, 2021. And while the midday meal was replaced with a prix-fixe version, with the same set price tag as Be Our Guest’s dinner, Disney has opted to leave breakfast indefinitely suspended. It’s unknown at this time whether this is a permanent state of affairs or just a temporary situation.
What Time Does Be Our Guest Restaurant Open
Breakfast at Be Our Guest restaurant is served from 8 am-10:30 am I love getting a reservation first thing at 8 am so that we are in the park before it opens and that way we are done eating just in time to race over to Mine Train without a long wait!
Lunch at Be Our Guest restaurant is served from 11 am-2:30 pm For lunch, I like to eat a bit later, maybe around 1-1:30 pm to take a break while the lines build back up after everyone else has already eaten.
Dinner at Be Our Guest restaurant is served from 4 pm to as early as 6 pm or as late at 10 pm seasonally. Dinner can vary for us depending on what FastPasses we have for the evening but we tend to like to eat after 6 pm to recharge before the fireworks!

Lunch At Be Our Guest
Lunch at Be Our Guest typically takes place from 11:00am-2:30pm, but you should check the hours for the dates youre visiting. Its counter service, but does need reservations.
The Be Our Guest lunch menu is among my favorites at Disney World. Between my family members and me, weve tried almost all of the adult entrees and loved them all. My favorite is the braised pork, which comes out way more tender and juicy than youd expect for counter service food in a theme park. And the mashed potatoes are legit. The Croque Monsieur a basically the Croque Madame mentioned above without the egg and French dip are also solid choices. And, the price point is a little bit lower than breakfast, with entrees currently topping out at $16.99 for adults. Kids can choose from meatloaf, a turkey sandwich, grilled shrimp, macaroni with marinara, pork roast, or a grilled cheese.
There are also a variety of dessert options, but my pick will always be The Masters Cupcake, which is topped with the grey stuff. Its delicious.
Reminder: despite the fact that its classified as quick service, you do need Be Our Guest lunch reservations.

This Be Our Guest Restaurant menu update could be viewed as a way for Walt Disney World to effectively increase prices without being overly blatant about it. Previously, the cheapest menu items were a pair of $13 items , both of which have been removed with this overhaul.
